Richmond-Richard "Flash" Gordon-79, passed away unexpectedly on April 12, 2026 at Maine General Hospital, Augusta.He was born on April 2, 1947 in Indiana the son of Paul and Mildred Gordon.

I went to a Friday night Platner talk. People of all ages attended.
I was very impressed. His plans and actions were well thought out and he spoke about the history of FDR, Lincoln and the constitution. He took questions from the audience and answered with sincere logic. My kind of talk honest, logic and facts.
One logic I had been thinking about was that Mills said she is only serving for one term. That would make a junior senator and then we would be again needing to elect again and get another junior senator. This concerns me.
He spoke about we need to build back Maine to the community it is and work together as a community of strength.
He was honest about its not going to be quick to fix all that has happened.
