🚂🌻Hello Folks, I know you haven't heard from us lately and we want to share some aspects of our efforts in the business of Crazy Train Apothecary.
This is a bit long but we feel important.

🌿🍂We have decided not to restock dried organic herbs/teas for resale and it's taking us a bit to get going on Elderberry Syrup this season. But, it's coming! Please text us if you would like to reserve 8 oz bottles from our first batch. We will let you know when they are ready.

🌻Even though costs are climbing, it is our premise for Crazy Train Apothecary to only offer pure, high quality grade products (free of fillers, preservatives and chemicals) at affordable prices. That means our markups are minimal and since 2018 we have only raised prices twice. Those 2 increases where based on the agreements we are signed to with our supplement suppliers in which they set retail pricing and also due to the rising organic dried herb costs.

🌿We are doing our best and will continue to hold our Elderberry Syrup price
at $15/ 8 oz. bottle

🌎Our decision to no longer stock organic dried herbs and teas are for 2 reasons:

#1 We import all of our dried organic herbs/teas due to the higher Organic Standards in other countries vs. in the US. The US "organic" green seal/standards allows for 20% non-organic content; glyphosate sprays/fertilizers and exposure to chemicals, whereas many other countries do not allow for ANY in their organic standards. Also the new tariffs & paperwork involved make buying a more costly and lengthy process.

For instance, our organic. dried Elderberries come from Croatia, Ceylon Cinnamon Sticks from Indonesia, Anise Stars & Chamomile from Egypt, Lavender from Bulgaria...etc.

#2 We just cannot compete with on-line sales ~ Crazy Train Apothecary was bred to grow Community by establishing in-person relationships with our Customers and making Natural Health Educating a priority to sales. We've toyed in the past with the idea of going on-line but made the purposeful choice to not. But, that decision has come at a cost; a significant loss of business. Hence our reduction this Spring to pre-order only and pickup in the self-buy, open only on Wednesdays.

💓So folks, we are putting it out to you ~ If you would like to help re-enliven our vision of uncompromised Purity, Education and Community support, please share our posts. (liking them doesn't spread the word although we really appreciate you)
