Want to be a runner but the sound of running for 5 minutes makes you want to die? You need a pogram that is built for non runners. I have done Couch 2 5K programs that start out gradual, then take you from running 5 minutes to 8 minutes, ending with you running the 5K in 30 minutes, in 6 weeks. I don't think that is realistic is for non runners. The TUF-K is a 10 week, for real gradual build up program, that is not based off distance but by consistancy of running. When the 10 weeks is over you may be running 2 miles, 3 miles or maybe even 4 but that will all be based off YOUR pace, not the time on the clock. I will have 2 groups starting at different phases, determined by fitness level at the time of sign up. This is a VIRTUAL program so anyone from anywhere can register.
