Nutritional Therapy encompasses way more than what you're eating. And to be honest, most of the time the nutrition piece isn't even the primary piece! This image shows the "anchors" of Nutritional Therapy work, but there is still so much more that goes into maintaining amazing health and wellness throughout our lives that can't be contained in a graphic, like mindset, but these are a great place to start!

What is one anchor you could focus on improving in the next month? Mine is always hydration 😅 Let me know what yours is in the comments.

I love egg salad, this looks amazing!!

Tried something new, and was very pleased! I wanted egg salad yesterday, but I was out of mustard (I usually add mayo, mustard and ganthoda). So, I switched it up. Mayo and Hearty Sauces Herb Balsamic dry mix. What a flavor punch 👊!
10/10 would recommend!

Great breakfast tips from my friend Annie at Diaita Nutrition!!

Let’s talk BREAKFAST! This is the first meal of the day that is breaking your fast. This meal sets the stage for the rest of your day so you want it to be a balanced meal. A balanced meal contains PROTEIN + FAT + FIBER. This helps to keep your blood sugar stable and provide you with sustainable energy.

I like pairing a protein like this chicken breakfast patty with my smoothies to make sure I check all the boxes!
✅ PROTEIN: Chicken breakfast patty
✅ FAT: Coconut milk, flax seeds, bacon fat (cooked in chicken patty)
✅ FIBER: Strawberries, banana, spinach, cauliflower

Smoothies are a great way to get in more veggies! This is what I added: frozen banana, frozen strawberries, spinach, frozen cauliflower, flax seeds, and coconut milk 🍹

How long does it take you to feel hungry after eating breakfast? If you’re feeling hungry 1-2 hours after eating then you’ll want to reevaluate your meal to see if it’s checking all the boxes. You may need to up your protein and fat to keep you feeling fuller longer!

These tips are so helpful!! Bloating is definitely my #1 symptom

𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘀?

While there might be some specific digestive support that’s needed, a few ways to help ease this symptom are:

😮‍💨 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘅: Take a few deep breaths before your meals.
⠀
🥦 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗩𝗲𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀: Raw veggies are hard to digest and can create rhe perfect bloating “environment” in the gut.

✋ 𝗦𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗗𝗼𝘄𝗻: Slow that roll and enjoy your meal, chewing your food rather than inhaling it.

🌿 𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝗕𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿: Digestive Bitters, that is. Add a dropper before meals.

🚶‍♀️𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗔 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹: Walking after meals benefit digestion AND blood sugar.

Whether you went on a walk or an 8 mile run, there’s a good chance you broke out in a little bit of a sweat!

Taking a quick shower in the morning not only cleans off the sweat, it opens up your pores making your skin healthy and glowing!

With some exercise, good breakfast, and a few bottles of water under your belt already, anything that you have happening throughout the day pales in comparison.
