The salad bar looked like it might be my new favorite place.

My rant for the day

Last year I bought 2 pairs of glasses for my daughter, 1 of them being transition lenses and it cost me around $260.

Fast forward to today. I only got 1 pair for $205 after being quoted $487 for 2 pairs of glasses!! The frames were $44 before anyone blames that

Same prescription. Same insurance, but this year they dont cover as much. Her lenses were $160 WITH INSURANCE and that doesnt include frames to put said lenses in.

Thank goodness she still has her backups from last year because we cant chance her only having 1 pair, she can hardly see without them.

Getting quoted $487 for 2 pairs of glasses is straight up bu****it and I have insurance, so it would have been EVEN HIGHER for someone without.

This on top of rising prices everywhere we turn is getting exhausting at this point.

Stopped by The Mad Potter and its such a fun way to slow down for a bit.

You pick your piece, paint it however you want, and they fire it for you. I LOVE that its something you actually get to keep. Prices vary ❤️

You do not have to finish that day, you have up to 1 year to finish your piece.
