🎹👔 What a Special Afternoon! 👔🎹

We had the pleasure of hosting Mark Tavenner, “The Tie Guy,” this afternoon for a truly one-of-a-kind musical experience! Not only did he showcase his talent as a pianist, but he also shared his incredible collection of over 712 unique ties—each one with its own meaningful story.

What made the performance so memorable was how each song he played was paired with a different tie, thoughtfully chosen to reflect the mood or story behind the music. It was a creative and heartfelt blend of storytelling and song that kept everyone engaged from start to finish.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this memorable afternoon of music, stories, and connection. It was an experience we won’t soon forget!

Spent some time today getting into the spirit of spring with a fun and messy craft—paper mache birds! 🐦🌸 There’s something so relaxing about working with your hands, layering paper, and watching a simple idea come to life.

The best part? Each little bird has its own personality—It’s not about perfection, just enjoying the process and celebrating the season of new beginnings.

If you’re looking for a creative way to unwind, I highly recommend giving this a try. A little glue, some paper, and a lot of imagination go a long way. 💛

Spring vibes officially activated! 🌿✨

Whipped up something sweet and simple today—Raspberry Delight treats 🍓✨

Layers of buttery graham crackers, fluffy homemade whipped cream, and fresh, juicy raspberries come together for the perfect no-fuss dessert. Light, refreshing, and just the right amount of indulgent!

There’s something so satisfying about using fresh ingredients and making it from scratch—it really makes all the difference. These little treats didn’t last long around here!

Who else loves a quick homemade dessert that tastes like summer in every bite? 😍

Frankie the French Bulldog stopped by for a visit today and absolutely made our day 🐾💙

We love when our furry friends come to see us—it’s always a highlight! Frankie strutted right up to the Front Desk, ready for some attention (and of course, a well-deserved treat). Safe to say, he left with lots of love and a happy tail wag.

Our doors are always open to our four-legged visitors—we truly enjoy meeting every single one of them. Keep the visits coming… and don’t forget, treats are always waiting at the Front Desk! 🐶✨

We had such a special day welcoming back someone very dear to us—Levi! 💙

Levi used to work here at Bridges as a Life Enrichment Assistant, bringing so much joy, laughter, and heart to everyone he met. He moved to New York to start an exciting new chapter and get married, and while we are so happy for him, we’ve missed him more than words can say.

Today, Levi came back to visit, and it was like no time had passed at all. Smiles lit up the room, hugs were shared all around, and you could truly feel how much he means to our community. Everyone was beyond happy to see him again!

Thank you, Levi, for taking the time to come back and visit us. You’ll always be part of the Bridges family—we love and miss you so much! 💕

Our residents are getting creative and welcoming spring in the most beautiful way! 🌸🎨

This week, we spent time watercoloring handmade floral bookmarks in preparation for next week’s Bridges Book Club. Each bookmark is as unique as the artist behind it, filled with soft spring colors, blooming flowers, and lots of personality.

Not only was it a relaxing and joyful activity, but it also gave everyone something special to use as we turn the pages together at book club. We can’t wait to see these beautiful creations in action! 📚💐

Stay tuned for more moments of creativity, connection, and community. 💕

This afternoon was one of those moments that truly captures what makes our community so special. Families gathered in the lobby over coffee, sharing stories, laughter, and meaningful conversation.

It’s always heartwarming to see how close everyone is and how naturally we support one another. These simple moments remind us that we’re more than just a community—we’re a family. 💛

Had a great directors meeting this week! We gathered around a delicious charcuterie board (which definitely made the meeting even better 😄) and spent time discussing some really fun upcoming events and all the exciting things happening in the building.

There’s so much to look forward to, and it’s energizing to be part of a team that’s always planning ways to make things even better. Stay tuned—lots of good things ahead

What an incredible St. Patrick’s Day week! 🍀

We kicked things off with a special visit from the amazing Harvard Alpaca Ranch—such a fun and unique experience that brought plenty of smiles (and some very adorable guests 🦙). Then we were treated to a fantastic live performance by guitarist Bill Seguin, whose music set the perfect vibe for the week.

We wrapped it all up with a lively St. Patrick’s Day social filled with great company, laughter, and lots of festive spirit. 💚

Feeling grateful for everyone who came out to celebrate and made this week so memorable. Already looking forward to next year! Sláinte! 🍻

We had such a wonderful St. Patrick’s Day lunch at our community today! 🍀 We enjoyed a traditional corned beef and cabbage meal, and it was absolutely delicious. From the perfectly cooked corned beef to the flavorful cabbage and sides, everything was prepared with such care.

A huge thank you to our incredible Dining Director, Sarah Donahue, for all the hard work and dedication that went into creating this special meal. It truly made the day feel festive and brought everyone together to enjoy a classic tradition.

We’re so grateful for the effort that goes into making moments like this so memorable. Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 💚
