Curious about what all the vagus nerve does or control? Here is a snapshot of some of things that can be associated with vagal branch of the autonomic nervous system.

The vagus nerve includes the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. Damage to the vagus nerve can cause trouble breathing and involuntary actions. Eating anti-inflammatory foods and deeply breathing may help maintain vagus nerve health.
