Such a pretty morning in downtown Lexington 😎🌴🇺🇸 I just had to stop and snap a picture as I walked out of Town Hall, all paid up and licensed for another year of business here… crazy to think this dream of mine became real almost 3 years ago!

It is never too late, or too early, to make it happen for yourself! Open the business, buy that house, run the marathon… or just take the first baby steps toward your goals if that’s what you’ve got the capacity for at this moment.

Sharing from our Pelvic PT friends in Arkansas…

The tide is SLOWLY shifting to the real preparation and education that women need, to recover from labor and delivery, whatever that looks like for them. If you are a woman who is lucky enough to know about pelvic floor PT, shout it from the rooftops to all of your mama friends! It is never too late to put your body back together.

And if you think “my symptoms aren’t bad enough to need PT”, call me! I’m happy to talk through the options and find you the best fit for help, whether that’s my breathwork and exercised-based Core & Pelvic Floor recovery program, or something more in depth from a PT.

Happy Monday! Spring has sprung (or maybe summer, it's supposed to be 88 here today!), kids are out of school soon 😲, and usually that means, life gets even busier than it usually is!

Self care does NOT have to go by the wayside though! If you've got nagging aches and pains that are keeping you from doing all the things you want to, schedule a consult with me! We can do that at my office, or squeeze it in from wherever you are on Zoom, and get a plan together for you.

Well, I almost missed posting this but today is the day! Governor McMaster has proclaimed March 1st 2024 as South Carolina Athletic Training day! Helping us kick off by promoting and celebrating the profession of athletic training.

I have been a certified athletic trainer since 2005, and although I don’t practice in the traditional setting anymore, I use those roots every day with my clients.

If you played sports, or had kids that played sports, chances are you or someone you love has been cared for by an AT. They are the first line of defense and so incredibly important in keeping athletes safe. I’m proud to know and work with many amazing ATs.

I had the honor of speaking to the Multiples of the Midlands group a few weeks ago. As I’m a twin mom myself, I have huge admiration for the miracles these ladies have carried in their bodies! We talked about the importance of core & pelvic floor exercise post pregnancy, no matter how far out you are (these women range from their 20s-50s) and even did a little practicing 😀
