We were grateful to The Ridge Behavioral for putting on such a wonderful Lexington Mental Health Providers Luncheon, and we were honored to host the event this month at KVC Kentucky. 💙

The work we do is stronger when we do it together. Bringing providers, partners, and advocates into the same space creates opportunities to share ideas, build relationships, and better support the individuals and families we serve across our community.

Thank you to Ridge Behavioral Health System and all of our community partners for your collaboration and continued commitment to mental health in Lexington.

Hunt for Happiness Week is a great reminder that happiness isn’t about having a perfect life it’s about taking small steps to care for your mind, body and relationships.

🌟 Service Spotlight: Meet David Sturgeon, LPCA 🌟
Meet David Sturgeon, LPCA, an outpatient therapist at KVC Kentucky in Lexington. David holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and works with clients experiencing a wide range of concerns from depressive symptoms and day-to-day stressors to complex trauma.
David is certified in Reality Therapy and Choice Therapy, and he focuses on helping clients identify their strengths and build on them to improve their quality of life. His favorite part of being a therapist is supporting others as they recognize their own resilience and use it to create meaningful change.

💬 In David’s words:
“I believe the work I do is about helping the community and supporting others in need. I love KVC because everyone is treated with the dignity and respect they deserve.”
David is committed to providing thoughtful, respectful care and working with a diverse population to support healing and growth.
