The Eastern Mountain Leadership Team recently came together for a powerful mix of connection, celebration and growth.

The evening started with a great meal and even better conversation, giving everyone time to recharge and connect outside of the day-to-day. From there, the energy shifted as the team came together to cheer on the Kentucky Wildcats, bringing plenty of team spirit and camaraderie to the night.

Beyond the fun, the team also spent intentional time diving into Gallup action plans, reflecting on strengths, aligning on goals and building strategies for continued success.

Moments like these remind us that strong teams are built through connection, shared experiences and a commitment to growing together.

Joined by Governor Andy Beshear, this meaningful event highlights our shared commitment to keeping kids safe and supporting strong, healthy families across Kentucky.

Each pinwheel planted represents hope, resilience and the promise of a brighter future for every child.

Meet Aaron Carney, M.Ed., LPCA, a therapist at KVC Kentucky. Aaron provides compassionate, client-centered care using a variety of evidence-based approaches to support children, adults and families on their path toward healing and growth.

KVC Kentucky team members recently participated in CPR training, strengthening their ability to respond quickly and confidently in emergency situations. The training included hands on instruction and guidance on life saving techniques, helping ensure staff are prepared to take action if the need arises.

Opportunities like this play an important role in maintaining a safe environment for the children, families and communities we serve. By continuing to build these skills, our team shows its commitment not only to compassionate care, but also to preparedness and safety in every aspect of our work.
