Ronnie Lynn Brown
April 23rd, 1953 – February 26th, 2026

Ronnie Lynn Brown, age 72, of Sardis, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, February 26th, 2026.

Born April 23, 1953, in Henderson County, Tennessee, Ronnie was the son of the late Fay Brown (May 24, 1931 – May 8, 2012) and the late Edna Brown (September 13, 1930 – August 24, 2023). He was a twin, born alongside his brother Donnie, and the older brother of Randy. But he was born first. And he carried that with him — he always felt like a protector.

Ronnie was a truck driver by trade who valued independence above all else. He began his career driving over the road but didn’t like being away from home. So, he did what he always did — he figured it out himself. He bought his own gravel truck and worked for himself for the rest of his life. He answered to no one. He gave more than he took.

Ronnie grew up without his father — not by choice, but by circumstance. He carried that loss quietly, along with the weight of things no one ever taught him how to name. Despite it all, he loved deeply and loyally. He showed up in the ways he knew how — in truck rides, in working side by side, in showing up when it mattered even when the words wouldn’t come.

He is survived by his daughter, Dr. Emily Brown Stanfill; his brothers Donnie and Randy; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He loved his nieces and nephews. He loved his brothers. Even when that love wasn’t returned.

Per Ronnie’s wishes, he will be cremated. He didn’t want a show. But the family is going to have a small gathering because they want to hear happy stories of him — and want to honor him because he deserves it. His Celebration of Life will be held at Stanfill Funeral Home & Cremation in Lexington, Tennessee. Sunday, March 8, 2026, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM with his service to follow at 2:00 PM.

Ronnie didn’t want a show. He wanted the truth. So here it is: he was a gentle giant who got dealt the short end of the stick again and again, and he kept showing up anyway. He lived and loved fiercely. That’s not dumb. That’s the bravest kind of strength there is.

Jeania Gail Overman
January 10th, 1961 - February 6th, 2026

Jeania Gail Overman passed away February 6th, 2026 in Decatur County TN at the age of 65. She was preceded by her father Jon Padziora and her grandparents Leonard and Lexi Bledsoe. She is survived by her mother Joyce Overman, her husband Michael Eugene Overman, her brother Johnny Padziora, her sister Julie Bowman, her children Mikey Overman (Megan), Jaime Anderson (Bryan), and Ricky Baer (Kelly), her grandchildren Caleb Bowman, Kerilou, Kynlie, Cabela, and Kallie Anderson, Makenna and Maddie Overman, and Ivy and Ian. Ms. Overman was a very unique person. She fought all of her life for the things she loved and had no regard for her own pain. She found true happiness when she met the love her life (Michael). They made their life together…laughing, crying, and always loving their children (Mikey, Jaime, and Ricky). She loved her husband deeply and her children with every breath she took. She was blessed with new kind of love when she received grandchildren. She truly enjoyed being at the river and, anyone blessed enough to have known her, knew she would do anything to help people. Whether it is was clothes, food, money, or a place to stay. She loved animals, but wolves held a special place in her heart. She always put others first, no matter what was happening in her own life. Her love was fierce and when she said she loved you, she meant it! Above all things she believed in Jesus Christ, who she would fondly refer to as “Papa.” She had peace in her heart and was ready to see him. Although her family hurts and will miss her deeply, they find happiness knowing that her pain and suffering is over. She is at peace, having a beautiful and glorious time with “Papa.” Until we get to see you again…

Her visitation will be held at Stanfill Funeral Home & Cremation Tuesday February 10th, 2026 from 10am-2pm with her service to follow at 2pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice.

Pauline “Polly” B. Garnett
October 20th, 1950 – January 20th, 2026

Pauline “Polly” B. Garnett passed away peacefully on Monday, January 20, 2026, at Henderson County Community Hospital in Lexington, Tennessee at the age of 75. Polly was preceded by her parents Paul & Carmen Bryson, her brother Jim Bryson, her sister Mary Helen Cox, and her son-in-law Daniel Wallace. She is survived by her children Kimberly Garnett (Purvis, MS), Kelley Cook & her son-in-law Stan Cook (Olive Branch, MS), and Krystal Wallace (Lexington, TN), as well as her grandchildren Anna Terry, Harrison Terry, Madey Luter, Taylor Cook, Miranda Wallace, Jackson Wallace, and Natalie Cook.

Polly was born to Paul and Carmen Bryson in Tupelo, Mississippi on October 20, 1950. She graduated in 1968 from Tupelo High School. Polly raised her family in West Point, MS, and later relocated to Biloxi, MS, where she lived and worked for the remainder of her life.

As a security agent at Palace Casino in Biloxi for nearly 20 years, Polly was loved dearly by coworkers and customers. She lived her life fully in each moment and truly understood the value of friendship and family. Her sweet soul and kind spirit will forever be a part of the lasting memory she leaves behind in the lives of everyone she encountered.

Polly was a woman of strong faith, and she demonstrated this faith through her selfless acts of service and the way she inspired others to find strength and seek God’s guidance in their own lives. Throughout life, she embodied qualities of loyalty, hope, compassion, and grace even when facing personal hardship. She taught her children early to believe as she did, that everything happens for a reason and there is always something to be thankful for. She expressed gratitude for a wonderful life full of people and experiences even in her last week after a difficult month brought on with the diagnosis and challenges of lung cancer.

Polly loved people the most, but she also enjoyed spending time outdoors working in her yard and being near the ocean. She loved her cats, a good book, all kinds of music, and believed that dancing a little each day was good for her soul. Her warm smile and contagious laughter will forever be remembered.

Mom, we love you most!

Polly’s family will honor her life with a private service. In remembrance of Polly’s life and her compassion for all God’s creatures, the family asks that any charitable donation be made to your local animal shelter.
