🩸 What Does a Healthy Period Really Look Like? Let’s Talk About It! 🩸
A healthy menstrual cycle isn’t just about bleeding every month,it’s a reflection of your overall health. 🌸
✨ Here’s what’s considered normal:
• 🕒 Cycle length: 21–35 days (yes, it doesn’t have to be every 28!)
• ⏰ Bleeding lasts: 3–7 days
• 💧 Flow: Starts light, gets heavier mid-cycle, then tapers off
• 🎨 Color: Bright to deep red (brown at the beginning or end is okay too)
• 😌 Mild cramping, breast tenderness, or mood changes — but not debilitating pain
• 🌙 Minimal clotting (occasional small clots are normal)
🚩 If your period is extremely painful, heavy, irregular, or absent for months, your body might be asking for support. Talk to your provider and remember, your period is a vital sign, not a punishment. ❤️
