Unfortunately, you’ll have to replace them. There is nothing currently on the market to safely remove scratches from eyeglass lenses without ruining the lens. Your Optician will go over proper cleaning and care to help prevent you from scratching your seeing investment 🫶🏼

Today’s episode of: “It’ll be fine… it’s just for a minute.”

Let’s talk about leaving your glasses in the car.

You know how in the summer your vehicle turns into a mobile sauna… mixed with a convection oven… sprinkled with regret? Yeah. That.

Your car interior can easily hit 130–160 degrees, and unfortunately your eyeglasses are not built for a spa day like that.

When glasses get cooked in your car, a few fun things can happen:

• Lenses start warping like a funhouse mirror
• Anti-reflective coatings bubble, crack, or craze
• Frames bend, twist, or slowly melt into a shape no human face was designed for

So when someone comes in saying,
“Something weird happened to my lenses…”

…and we ask,
“Did you leave them in your car?”
