Would there be interest from Lexington and surrounding communities for an ‘Arm Camp’? This would be ideal for all overhead athletes including baseball and softball players, volleyball players, and swimmers. This would likely be a 2 day ‘camp’ and each day would be ~ 3 hours. Day 1 would include mobility and strength testing and education in an individualized home program. Day 2 would be a week later (after they have had time to do the original exercises) and would include a short review from Day 1 and instruction of more advanced mobility and strength exercises. The Arm Camp would be taught be 2 licensed PTs (one of them being a former D1 pitcher and the other once threw a 4 hitter in Little League). The goal of the camp would be to both decrease risk of injury and improve level of performance.
Note to track parents: We didn’t forget about you. We just didn’t have our space finished in time to make it work this year. We will have a Run Camp next year!
