This week's BetterLife Story is extra special! Thanks to our members, our StrongerLife Walking Club has taken on a life of its own! Every Wednesday, members pick a spot somewhere around Lexington, lace up their shoes, and head out for a walk filled with conversation, laughter, and fresh air. But the movement doesn't stop when the walk ends...
Afterwards, the group gathers at a local spot for what they lovingly call "social exercise" - time to sit, chat, share stories, and enjoy a little refreshment together.
Yes, walking is great for your heart, your joints, your balance, and your energy. Staying active feels good. But what's happening here goes way beyond steps and fitness.
It's friendships forming and lasting.
It's accountability that doesn't feel like pressure.
It's looking forward to Wednesdays not just for the walk - but for the people.
