Do you:
- Over apologize

- Have difficulty remembering
- Have trouble sleeping
- Have a hard time concentrating
-Feel tense or “on edge”
- Feel irritable or have angry outbursts
- Experience negative thoughts about yourself or the world
You may have experienced a trauma in your life.
“Trauma Therapy,” sounds so intense, to many people. We often associate trauma with military, survivors of abuse, PTSD, ect. Often times we look at our experiences and wouldn’t necessarily label them as “traumatic.” You may minimize your experience by comparing it to someone else’s. Did you know that 70% of adults in the US will experience a traumatic event in their life? Not everyone who experiences trauma will develop PTSD. Trauma on its own can have a significant impact on mental health and overall happiness.
THE GOOD NEWS: You don’t have to navigate it alone! There are trauma informed therapists that are trained in a variety of different therapy styles(modalities) to help provide relief and healing after trauma.
If you are wanting to learn more about the different trauma services we offer, call our office (859)447-0855.
There is Hope and Healing after trauma!
