We are proud to celebrate our 3rd-year Doctor of Physical Therapy students from the University of Kentucky for their outstanding work presented at Appalachian Research Day in Corbin, Kentucky!

Their poster, titled “Exploring the Need for Providing Support to Physical Therapists in Rural Settings Who are Providing Services to Pediatric Patients and Patients with Lifelong Disabilities,” highlights an often underrepresented area of care—supporting providers serving rural communities and vulnerable populations.

This impactful survey study reflects both the dedication and compassion our students bring to advancing the profession and improving access to care.

👏 Congratulations to Dr. Catherine Gohrband and 3rd-year PT students Aaron Smith, Gabby Kirby, and Ali Johnson on a job well done!

🏀 🏀 🏀 Students had the chance to participate in wheelchair basketball tonight, in cooperation with the Cincinnati Dragons. It was a hard fought battle against HCHS athletes, who were joined by an alum, National Champion and all American Kerwin Haake, and much fun was had by all! Thanks to Dr. Clemens and UK Sports PT Resident Ashton Cook for joining!
