This past weekend, Dr. Chuck Hazle and several UKDPT students attended the AAOMPT conference in Reno, Nevada. Dr. Hazle represented UKDPT/RHB PhD student Gabbie Van Scoy with her poster. Thanks to Dr. Hazle for facilitating this and kudos to the students for making the effort to attend (and to their clinical sites for also valuing this experience for them)! May this be the first of many fulfilling learning opportunities for the Class of 2026!

This Veteran's Day, we remember those who have fought for our freedoms. We are often lucky enough to provide services to veterans in communities across the Commonwealth. Thank you to those who have served! If you don't have the chance to talk to a veteran today, check out some of these stories that illustrate life in and after their service.

🕛💻What are you doing with your extra hour after falling back? Maybe you can share a few minutes with us!

An interprofessional team at the University of Kentucky is exploring AI use in Healthcare to help us shape our educational programs. Drs. Mona Carper and Kara Lee are excited to elicit your input and wanted to share this invitation to participate:

Dear Alumni, Clinical Partners, Clinical Instructors, and friends of the program:

Researchers at the University of Kentucky invite you to participate in a brief research study exploring the use and perceptions of artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare and health professions education. The study seeks to understand perspectives from clinicians, students, health administrators, and health professions educators regarding how AI is currently being used and how it may shape the future of healthcare and education.

Participation involves completing a short, anonymous online survey that should take less than 5 minutes to complete. Your input will help our research team gain a more comprehensive understanding of the impact and trajectory of AI use in healthcare and health professions training.

Your participation is completely voluntary, and your responses will be kept confidential. There are no anticipated risks or direct benefits to participation. You may stop the survey at any time.

If you are interested, please click the link below to access the survey: https://uky.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9vo0IoQi6LN3qDk or with this QR code -
