🌟 Employee Anniversary Spotlight 🌟
Jasmine Kipp | March 16th, 2009
Certified Medical Assistant | Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist
Some people make a difference not just through what they do, but through the care, compassion, and dedication they bring every single day. Jasmine is one of those people who consistently for the past 17 years has gone above and beyond, whether it’s helping the team, advocating for her patients, or bringing a positive attitude to even the busiest days. Her commitment to excellence and her genuine kindness have made a lasting impact on both her coworkers and the many patients she’s helped care for over the years. We are proud to celebrate a special work anniversary for someone who truly embodies what it means to put patients first.
💬 Get to Know Jasmine
How did you get into this field?
“I knew I wanted to do either radiology or nursing. During early college classes I decided nursing was more interesting to me. I heard about the Medical Assisting program. Looked into it more and decided that felt like the perfect fit! (After all these years, a few years ago I took a limited X-ray classes and occasionally get to enjoy some of both now)”
What does a typical day look like for you?
“Get to work before patients arrive, open the area up, log into the computer, review the schedule and make a plan for the patients for the day. Discuss some patients with the provider prior to their arrival to decide if certain things may be needed prior to the patient being seen. Complete lots of prior authorizations for our patients which involves lots of insurance work to allow our patients to get the medications and tests our providers would like them to have. Make referral phone calls, sending patients medications to the pharmacy, faxing orders off, assisting the provider with any procedures and anything else that may come along to help care for our patients.”
What do you enjoy most about your job?
“Helping my patients! I love the relationship I have built with my patients and families over the years.”
