We're excited to celebrate Chloe Perdomo, RN, 2-year work anniversary! Over the past two years, Chloe has brought not only her skill and knowledge to our clinic, but also her passion for aesthetics and dedication to helping patients feel confident and beautiful in their own skin. Her attention to detail, artistic eye, and genuine care for every patient truly makes her stand out. We are so grateful for the positivity and talent she brings to our team every single day. 🎉

Get to know Chloe 📣

📍Where did you grow up?
- "Here in Lexington! I moved away for a short time after graduating in 2014 and attended beauty school at Capitol in Omaha and then moved back home to go to nursing school at CCC in Kearney"

💄How did you get into this field?
-"I have always loved beauty and all things skin! I realized that to have the prettiest makeup, it starts with a good foundation, aka SKIN! I have always struggled with acne and breakouts and loved all things beauty related. I got a job at the Lancôme counter while attending UNK and decided to pursue the beauty industry further, which led me to Capitol Beauty School in Omaha. I worked at a spa right after graduating from Capitol and loved it but wanted to do more. I have a passion for skin and wanted to be able to widen my scope into more medical aesthetics, so I decided to work toward my RN. I was lucky enough to get a job as an aesthetic nurse/nurse injector right after graduating nursing school and have been doing this ever since. I love being able to use both of my licenses and doing what I love every day. I like to think of my job as "happy medicine."

🏡 What's your favorite way to spend a day off? -"Doing anything with my husband and daughter! Whether it's a slow day at home, a spur-of-the-moment trip, or on the road to a dance competition, my favorite way to spend my days off is simply being with them".

💙 What do you enjoy most about your job? -"That my days are never the same and people enjoy coming to see me. I also enjoy the people I work with! We have such a great team here!"

We are so grateful to have Chloe on our team. Her passion for aesthetics, dedication to her patients, and positive energy make her such a special part of our PCMG team.

Today we're celebrating Joy's work anniversary at PCMG! For the past year, Joy has helped us provide exceptional care to our patients as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
✨ How did you get into this field? I worked as a CNA before deciding to become an LPN. I have worked in home health & hospice, a small rural clinic where I knew I loved helping people, Platte Valley Medical Group, and then I was a jail nurse for 6 years before coming back to the clinic life.
✨ How has your role evolved since joining PCMG? I have had to become very flexible on the job and have learned to work in many different areas.
✨ What’s a skill or hobby you enjoy outside of work? My husband and I take our 8 year old son Go-Kart racing over the spring and summer time. We love watching dirt track racing!
✨ What’s your favorite way to start the day? Coffee
✨ Where did you grow up? I grew up all over! I was born in Sioux City, IA and my parents worked for IBP- Tyson. I was a sophomore in high school when we relocated to Lexington in 1990.

How did you get into this field?
-“I always wanted to do something in the medical field. I have enjoyed working in Radiology because you get a little bit of patient care while working with technology to acquire good images for each patient. No day is the same!”

What do you enjoy most about your job?
-“I enjoy the challenge of getting good images to help in the patient’s diagnosis. I also really enjoy all of the people that I get to work with.”

How have things changed since you started at PCMG?
-“When I first started here, we still had film x-rays! We have a nice digital system now so that has been a great update.

What’s one thing you can’t work without?
-“Most everyone that knows me knows that I can’t work without my lunchtime Diet Coke.”

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
-“We spend most of our free time watching our kids at all of their activities these days. Whether it is at a sporting event or a livestock show, we enjoy watching them compete at the things they love.

For 40 years, Paula has been a friendly, familiar face welcoming patients into PCMG. Her kindness, knowledge, and always helpful attitude have made a lasting difference to everyone who walks through our doors. Paula has been a constant presence in our practice, and we are deeply grateful for her dedication, loyalty, and the care she shows each day. We are incredibly lucky to have Paula as part of the PCMG team and are thrilled to celebrate this amazing 40-year milestone. ✨

💬 Get to Know Paula

What led you to work at PCMG?
-“I needed a job, and I knew the administrator. Before coming here, I worked as a secretary at the Presbyterian Church.”

What do you like about working at PCMG?
-“I really like the patients and the relationships I’ve formed with them over the years. I like to think I try to go the extra mile for them. We have a nice variety of patients, and I’ve learned a lot about other cultures. I also like the people I work with. Well… I don’t like change.”

How have things changed over the last 40 years?
-“Now I’m the older person working here! The technology and the overall appearance of the place have changed a lot. I’ve changed too, hopefully for the better but I’m still a little sassy and ornery.”

What’s your favorite food?
-“I don’t have one specific favorite, but I enjoy good food; a good steak, a good burrito, or a good sandwich. I’ve really enjoyed the food growth Lexington has had; we have great food. Mexican, Chinese...it’s all good.”

An interesting place you’ve visited?
-“New York City! I went to visit a girlfriend and saw the Statue of Liberty, went to Times Square, and visited all the major New York landmarks… but I wouldn’t want to live there.”

What’s a fun fact about you that your colleagues might not know?
-“When I was in high school, I participated in Buffalo Bill’s Rodeo Queen Contest in North Platte. I also enjoy seeing and taking photos of Nebraska's beautiful sunrises, sunsets and landscapes.”

What do you like to do on your days off?
-“I enjoy working in the yard or garden and spending time enjoying Mother Nature. I find fulfillment in helping others; whether family, friends, or through church. I value giving more than receiving, though I appreciate both.”

Thoughts about your 40 years at PCMG?
-“I’m shocked I’ve lasted this long! There have been ups and downs and many different co-workers along the way. I’ve formed friendships with them that have continued outside of work. In 40 years, a lot of life events happen, and those experiences help forge deeper, more meaningful relationships with the people you work with. You get to know them like family. Overall, it’s been a good 40 years.”
