Celebrating 40 Years of Dedication: Avis Dillard, Office Administrator

“It’s been a long wonderful 40 years!!”

Forty years of service isn’t just a career milestone — it’s a legacy. Since joining PCMG on November 12, 1985, Avis has witnessed our clinic evolve and grow, and through every change she’s remained a steady, positive force. She’s been with us through the calm and the chaos; she’s the person everyone knows they can count on thanks to her deep understanding of how this clinic operates. Over the years, Avis has filled many roles at PCMG but no matter the title or task, she has approached every role with professionalism and care.

💬Get to Know Avis
What initially drew you to this field?
-“Well, New Holland closed in June of ’85, so I had to babysit and job hunt and my mother worked here. I applied for part-time Data Entry, got hired. Just part time… 40 years later and here I am!”

What advice would you give to someone new starting at PCMG?
-“Build friendships. Over the years, friendships are rewarding. It’s something you build that keeps you coming back. There are ups and downs, but you come back… and the next day is a new day.”

Summarize your experience at PCMG.
-“It’s a good and wonderful place… and I’ve enjoyed all of it.
Memories and history that I will cherish forever. It’s been a long, wonderful 40 years!!”

What was your dream job as a child?
-“Lawyer… ain’t that crazy? A defense lawyer!”

Random fact about yourself:
-“I taught Sunday school for 30 years and helped organize the church’s Christmas program for 25 years! I loved and enjoyed it.”

Do you have any hobbies or hidden talents? What do you enjoy doing when you’re away from PCMG?
-“Bowling and golfing, everyone knows that! I don’t have any hidden talents, but I love to cook and bake. I enjoy spending time with my family and entertaining in the summers. Living close to family is God’s reward.”

Beth Kopf, CMA, Director of Nursing

“They’re not just colleagues — they’re my friends”

Today marks Beth Kopf’s 28th year anniversary with PCMG! Since joining us on October 20, 1997, Beth has been an essential part of our team and a constant source of wisdom, warmth, and dedication.

Throughout the years, Beth has had different roles at PCMG, and her journey has led her to her current role as Director of Nursing. Her deep clinical knowledge, approachable leadership style, and daily cheerful “good morning” have become staples of our workday. Beth brings not only professionalism but also genuine care for her team and the patients we serve. We are incredibly fortunate to have her guiding our team with such heart and expertise.

What drew you to this field, and how did you get started?
🩺 "I always knew I wanted to be in the medical field, I just didn’t know in what capacity… I only knew one thing for sure: no cleaning bedpans!"

What have you learned while at PCMG?
🌱 "Patience, adaptability, and the value of a good sense of humor."

What do you enjoy most about working at PCMG?
👩‍⚕️ "The banter! It’s the people I work with. They’re not just colleagues— they’re my friends.".

Growing up, what did you want to be?
🏡 "A mom and a rancher’s wife and I’m proud to say I’ve become both.".

Favorite TV shows?
📺 "Grey’s Anatomy — I love Grey’s! (even if I’m aging myself)."

What are your hobbies? What do you do for fun?
📚 "I enjoy reading, checking cattle with my husband… dare I say, working cattle too."

What’s a fun fact about you that may surprise people?
🏆 "I won the National Denver Stock Show when I was 16 with my pig, Sylvania! She was the runt of the litter; her mom’s name was Silvia. It was so much fun!"
