💚 There’s Still Time to Make an Impact This Giving Tuesday 💚

As this meaningful day comes to a close, we’re feeling deeply grateful for every person who has supported Hospice of Davidson County — today and over the past 40 years.

We’ve been reflecting on the voices of families who have shared sentiments like:
💚 “Your team brought calm when everything felt overwhelming.”
💚 “We never felt alone because you walked with us through every step.”
💚 “The compassion you showed our family is something we will never forget.”

These words remind us why compassionate hospice and grief support matter — and how powerful your generosity truly is.

If you haven’t had a chance to give yet, there’s still time. Your gift tonight helps ensure that every patient and family receives comfort, dignity, and compassion, no matter their ability to pay.

Here’s how your Giving Tuesday gift can make a difference:

$40 ➜ Personal Care Supplies for a patient at home
$140 ➜ Care for a patient in our care
$400 ➜ Ambulance transport for a patient to the Hinkle Hospice House
$1,040 ➜ A full day of inpatient care for a patient at the Hinkle Hospice House
$4,000 ➜ Assistance to families in need during the time of loss

💬 “Seeing our community come together in support of our mission is one of the most inspiring parts of my work. Your kindness helps us continue a 40-year promise of compassion and connection for every family we serve.”
— Ashley Milam, Marketing Manager

💚 There’s still time to give — and every gift brings compassionate care to those with serious illness regardless of their ability to pay. Visit our website: hospiceofdavidson.org/events to learn more.

As we celebrate 40 years of compassionate care at Hospice of Davidson County, we’re reflecting on the thousands of families who have trusted us during some of their most meaningful moments.

We hear words like:
💚 “You cared for my dad like he was your own.”
💚 “We felt supported every step of the way.”
💚 “You helped us find peace when we didn’t think peace was possible.”

These stories are why we do what we do — and you make this care possible.

In honor of our 40th anniversary, here are a few ways your Giving Tuesday gift can create impact right here in our community:

$40 provides personal care items or meals for a week at the Hinkle Hospice House for a patient's family member.
$140 provides care for a patient in our care
$400 provides ambulance transport for a patient to the Hinkle Hospice House
$1,040 provides a full day of inpatient care at the Hinkle Hospice House.
$4,000 provides assistance to families in need during the time of loss.

Your support ensures every patient and family receives the care they need — regardless of their ability to pay.

As we look toward the next 40 years, we invite you to be part of our story.

Honoring Heroes This Veterans Day!

Today, and every day, Hospice of Davidson County proudly honors the brave men and women who have served our country. We extend our deepest gratitude to all Veterans — including our patients, caregivers, staff, and volunteers — for their courage, dedication, and sacrifice. ❤️🤍💙

As a Level 4 partner in the We Honor Veterans program, we are committed to providing specialized care and meaningful recognition to those who have served. Starting from the referral process through each step of their journey, our team works together to ensure that every Veteran we serve is honored and thanked in a special way — including, but not limited to, a heartfelt pinning ceremony, if they choose.

Today, we pause to remember and honor their service — and the strength, stories, and spirit they share with all of us. 💚
