Please share with friends and family. We are seeking video testimonials about people’s experiences delivering in the hospital during a pandemic.

This is a part of our virtual expo being held starting next week. Other topics will include if home birth is right for you? An OBs perspective and a mental health discussion surrounding Covid-19 and pregnancy!

We are super excited about the information being shared. You won’t want to miss it. Tickets are FREE and can be found on Eventbrite!

Have you experienced a hospital birth during the pandemic? If so, you’re eligible to enter our $50 Amazon Gift Card giveaway!
How to enter:
Submit a short video, telling us when and where you birthed your baby, and briefly answer the following questions:
💜 What is one item you were so glad to have with you/or that you wish you’d brought with you?
💜 What surprised you most about the hospital setting? If this wasn’t your first birth, what was the biggest difference between your pre-COVID hospital birth and now?
💜 What piece of advice or information do you wish you would have received prior to delivery?
Videos may be submitted through Facebook messenger or emailed to hello@loveyourbirth.org and will be used to create a compilation that we will air during our expo. Videos selected will be based on submissions received. The deadline for submissions is SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3rd by 11:59pm EST.

Love Your Birth is planning an online virtual expo this year in light of COVID-19. The topic at large is going to be pregnancy during a pandemic. We still plan on having great speakers and amazing giveaways. If you want to participate as a vendor there is a FREE option this year!! Spread the word!

We know that many small businesses have been negatively affected during the COVID-19 pandemic, for this reason we’ve decided to offer a FREE vendor option to our local birth and baby businesses who may be experiencing harder than normal times.
👣
This year's events have also dramatically changed how birth looks for many local families. As a result of these changes, and to protect vulnerable members of our community, we have chosen to make this year's expo a VIRTUAL EXPO with the theme of Pregnancy in a Pandemic. We hope to help families build a toolkit or support system for their upcoming births.
👣
Due to the uncertain nature of birth facility policies at this time we have temporarily shifted our goal, and the funds raised from this year's expo will go to fund training for people who want to become doulas to help diversify the local doula population and further serve underrepresented and underserved communities.
👣
This event will be held LIVE, ONLINE during the week of October 8-14. We will have several events going on through the week, including:
.
👣Live streamed discussions with local consumers and providers from our new Pregnancy in a Pandemic series
👣Information about local businesses in the birth and baby community
👣Interactive games
👣An online auction
and as always,
👣 GIVEAWAYS.
Families will be able to pick up their swag bags and any won items in person on October 17. Definitive arrangements are still being made for pick up, but will be done in the safest way possible.
👣
Our full schedule of events and more information will be released soon!
👣
EARLY BIRD PRICING for all vendors ends August 15th at 11:59pm, don’t miss out! 😊

We have a Legislative Update!
The Anti-Shackling of a Pregnant Person bill (H.3967) was just passed 42-0 by the Senate with an amendment that helps improve the quality of life for incarcerated people!
It will now go back to the house for approval, and if approved will go to the Governor's desk to be signed into law.
Your hard work is paying off! Keep contacting your legislators about WREN's other policy priorities: scwren.org/issues/legislative-agenda/
