THE NEED IS GREAT.

With extreme cold temperatures and the impending winter storm, we have been working hard to help people who have been unable to access shelter into motel rooms. We’ve filled rooms with 53 of our brothers and sisters with nowhere else to go in the last few days and continue to get calls with unsheltered folks showing up on our doorstep.

Because of the continued great need, the Mother Teresa Shelter at 1050 Goodwin Drive (back of the Catholic Action Center) will be open as an emergency warming center from Saturday 1/24 at 12 NOON until Tuesday 1/27 at 12 NOON for adults 18+ for those who have no shelter.

We have a critical need for monetary donations to support this effort. Donations can be made via our website www.catholicactioncenter.net or by mail: Catholic Action Center, P.O. Box 324, Lexington KY 40588. All donations are tax-deductible.
