With the final weeks of school approaching, it’s time to enroll in summer camps! If your child has allergies, taking a few precautions can help ensure a fun and worry-free camp experience:
1) 📃Describe your child’s allergy and specific symptoms on the camp application form.
2) 💊Check the expiration date of all medications and get new ones if needed.
3) Remind your child to tell an adult immediately if they begin to feel an allergic reaction starting 😟, and always know where the emergency medication is, or which adults have access to it.
Lexington has many great summer camps lined up for 2026. Check them out at www.lexingtonky.gov/playing/camps/summer-camps.
