Lexington City Mayor, Gordon Wildridge and Henderson County Mayor, Robbie McCready along with Carl Perkins Center, Director, Kim Hendrix and CPS Regional Director, Mendy Harmon, recently held a Proclamation signing recognizing the month of April as Child Abuse Prevention Month. Each year there are over 4 million reported cases of abuse nationwide. Henderson County’s partnering agencies work diligently to protect victims and prevent abuse from occurring.
