We are so thankful for our Child Protective Investigative team in Henderson County. As we take time to recognize April as Child Abuse Prevention Month, this group is at the top of the list of superstars! Thank you for your service. We are grateful for each of you.

Lexington City Mayor, Gordon Wildridge and Henderson County Mayor, Robbie McCready along with Carl Perkins Center, Director, Kim Hendrix and CPS Regional Director, Mendy Harmon, recently held a Proclamation signing recognizing the month of April as Child Abuse Prevention Month. Each year there are over 4 million reported cases of abuse nationwide. Henderson County’s partnering agencies work diligently to protect victims and prevent abuse from occurring.
