Meet pediatrician Dr. Brian Gillispie!

Dr. Gillispie has served the Lexington community for more than 20 years, and has watched many patients grow from newborns to adults. "I love seeing the fruits of that journey when these young people graduate. Since I myself grew up in this community, It is particularly heartwarming to see children and now grandchildren of individuals who grew up with me.”

What's life for him outside the office? “I spend time with my wife and three children. I enjoy watching my children play sports, riding my bicycle, and working in my garden while listening to audio books.”

Dr. Gillispie sees pediatric care as something sacred: “It is such an intimate gift of trust. Watching others parent enables me to see the best in humanity, and is one of the greatest blessings of my life."

Get to know pediatrician Dr. Catherine Hieronymus!

She explains why she decided to become a pediatrician: “I always felt the most like myself when interacting with kids! I can be funny and playful. Plus, kids usually have no filter, so you never know what they are going to say and I love it!”

Dr. Hieronymus brings that same energy to every visit, and her care extends beyond the patient: “In pediatrics, you not only treat the patient, but you also build a bond with the whole family. I love being a part of this journey!”

What brings her joy outside the office? “First and foremost, my daughter! She is the light of my life.” She also loves concerts, roller coasters, hiking, and being near water.
