Yesterday our community brought the spirit of Mardi Gras to life with a festive mask-making activity, a lively bead toss game, and plenty of laughter all around. Residents snacked on delicious crab dip, artichoke dip, and — of course — everyone’s favorite treat, king cake! 🍰💜💚💛

At Highgrove, we celebrated Presidents’ Day with a little creativity and a lot of red, white and blue spirit! 🇺🇸

Our residents spent the afternoon transforming mason jars into festive “lanterns,” complete with patriotic flair. From painting and decorating to sharing stories, it was a wonderful blend of creativity, conversation and community.

Crafting isn’t just fun — it’s meaningful. Hands-on projects like these help support fine motor skills, encourage focus and concentration, spark creativity and provide a sense of accomplishment. Even more importantly, crafting together creates opportunities for connection and laughter.

At Highgrove, we believe every day is a chance to learn, create and celebrate — and this Presidents’ Day was glowing proof of that. ❤️🤍💙
