Hello friends! I finally have a little room to breathe and give y'all an update. Thank you everyone who has been so patient with me taking a million years to get back with you and everyone for the well wishes for my sweet pup.
After two emergency vet visits in 24 hours and a trip to the animal hospital, Ira had a foreign body obstruction that had to be surgically removed in the middle of the night. He did great through surgery, he was an angel for the vet and techs, and everyone he came into contact with immediately fell in love with my guy (he's very sweet, it's understandable). We got to pick him up late Friday night. He's had some minor complications that have required basically round the clock surveillance but he is, more or less, okay. He'll need to be closely monitored for about 10 days but fortunately I do have a support network to help out with his care.
So, while we're not totally out of the woods insofar as repeat emergency, with any luck we'll make it through the next week and a half without much fanfare. I am making my way through contacting the people I had to reschedule to handle this situation and after that I'll be responding to direct messages about scheduling in the order in which they were received. I am also working on updating the booking system and website with the adjusted pricing structure, new hands-off services, and other admin nonsense. If none of that sounds familiar to you, I sent you an email I think in November with the details or check the pinned post on the page.
I very much appreciate your patience through this whole thing and I am humbled (as always) by the support and love y'all have shown me during this time. 💚
