Congratulations to Ernest for graduating the Shepherds House men's long-term program! When describing Ernest, stale and overused clichés like "His recovery is rock solid!" simply will not do. Ernest's recovery is more like like tungsten: the strongest metal in the world, known for maintaining its structural integrity under extreme heat and pressure. Want someone to tell it to you raw, real and accurate? Ernest is your man. Want someone to co-sign your dishonesty? Better look elsewhere, because Ernest won't stand for it, and will absolutely call you out on it.

It is common in the recovery world to say that someone's "audio matches their video," which is to say that their actions align with their words. But that metaphor also makes it kind of sound like a movie scene--which doesn't do justice to Ernest, because he's as real as they come, and you can believe everything you see and hear from him today.

Congratulations, Ernest, and welcome to the brotherhood!

Congratulations to James for graduating the Lexington IOP! One of the coolest things about being in recovery is that you get to meet some of the most colorful and memorable personalities on the planet, and James is definitely one of them. He brings a splash of positive energy and unpredictability everywhere he goes, and we are super proud of him for this accomplishment--although this “ending” is, of course, only the beginning. Congratulations, James!
