The Shepherds House has organized a food drive to combat food insecurity in Danville and Boyle Co.! You can drop off non-perishable food items at the following participating locations: Off Centre, Big Lots, Lexington Baptist Church, Danville Fire Department, Save A Lot, Gethsemane Baptist Church, Centenary Methodist Church, Vegetable Man Amish Store, Southland Dollar General, and Presbyterian Church of Danville.

Congratulations to Fox for graduating the Lexington IOP! During our celebration ceremony, several people smiled and said the same thing: "Fox is just Fox!" He sure is: Fox is a rollicking dynamo of infectious fun (and maybe a few shenanigans, too), and he generates more gigawatts of energy than a nuclear reactor. And now that he is on the path towards a life more meaningful and fulfilling than he ever thought possible, he can transmit that positive energy to help and empower others, like electricity zipping across a glowed-up grid. Recovery, after all, is about being a humble conduit of a mysterious and interconnective power. Congratulations, Fox!

Congratulations to Chad for graduating the Shepherds House men's long-term program! Chad has the kind of freewheeling charisma and contagious enthusiasm that makes everyone love him. But addiction twists our gifts into selfish and destructive weapons, so there was a time not too long ago when he used that charm for, well, less-than-virtuous purposes. But today, Chad works a tenacious and authentic program of recovery. And now that he's truly walking the walk, and his "audio" is matching his "video," he's finally becoming the man--and father, and son, and friend--that he was always meant to be. Congratulations, Chad, and welcome to the brotherhood!
