When Randall Cobb tore his meniscus during his freshman year at the University of Kentucky, he had a big decision to make: remove his meniscus through a standard surgery with a quicker recovery, or opt for a complex repair with a longer recovery that could allow him to continue playing for years to come.

He chose latter, leading to a long, successful career in the NFL.
