Mom tip for today: when it comes to teaching kids about safety, fear doesn’t have to be part of the lesson. Use everyday situations like the car line, grocery store, or running errands to talk through what to do and what not to do. Keep the conversation calm, age-appropriate, and focused on awareness instead of scary scenarios. Gentle guidance goes a long way in helping kids feel confident and safe.
