Baby Health Service Baby Health Service provides quality and comprehensive healthcare for uninsured children from birth

Baby Health Service celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2014. Started as a milk supply service by a group of six women, Baby Health Service is now a full service pediatric health clinic overseen by a board of over 50 women who serve as rotating volunteers in our clinic and lead all fundraising efforts to support our operations. Nine volunteer physicians from our local community see our sick children daily from 7:30am-9am. Two employed Nurse Practitioners provide the following services:
- annual physical exams
-sports physicals
-vaccines
-developmental screening
-hearing and vision screening
-overweight and obesity coaching
-sick child consultations

Fun Facts!
-Provide care for roughly 3000 children annually
-Served children from over 50 nations
-Dr. Bill Underwood, our longest serving physician, has volunteered with us for over 50 years!
-In-house pharmacy and lab services
-Large community garden
-Named Fayette county 2014 Public Health Hero
