Day 1 of our move. A lot of progress in 1 day. We really appreciate Jered Corman and his team of movers. They did a great job with our heavy exercise equipment! Now to start getting all this organized to see clients!

Today the “process” begins of our move back to Lexington Athletic Club. We are excited for this move and new space opportunity, but bittersweet because this has been an amazing location for our continued practice growth these past 5 years. This Will be a very long week but excited to show pictures of the new space as we’re getting settled in! Stay tuned…..

We have many exciting changes in store for 2026! First and foremost is our move next week to our new space located within the Lexington Athletic Club. Please note ANY appointments after January 1 will be located at 3882 Mall Road Suite 200. We will have our own dedicated front entrance to our physical therapy space. As you park at LAC and walk up to the front doors our physical therapy clinic will be the doors to the right side closest to Mall Road. Clients will not need to enter the main gym and we will have a 3000+ square foot dedicated space for our clinic. Our PT's will have access to the 32000+ square foot LAC facility including the pool but clients will have to be working with a therapist. Clients we see do not have to be members of LAC. Our personal trainers and Pilates instructors will also continue to be a part of our wellness team within our space!

Our other announcement is we are excited to keep growing and will be adding to our team in 2026 with Taegan Strain PT joining our practice. Check out her bio and we are excited to have her onboard with Active Rehab. She will be seeing general orthopedic clients as well as pelvic health physical therapy.

Taegan graduated from the University of Kentucky with her bachelor’s degree in 2022 and with her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2025. She is originally from Franklin, KY and has been in Lexington for the 7 years now. She is passionate about treating women’s health and helping orthopedic patients get back to doing what they love. She is also passionate about helping dancers recover from injuries and return to performing.

We are so thankful for ALL of our many wonderful clients this past year and in all the years of practice and we want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Congratulations to 2 of our awesome PT techs Holynn and Lauren. They both have been accepted into the University of Kentucky Physical Therapy program this coming fall (as well as other schools). This is a great accomplishment and they will both make amazing future PT's!

We have exciting news to share! We are moving back to LAC. Construction has begun on our new 3000+ square foot space in the front of the Lexington Athletic Club! In addition to our own space we will have access to all of the facilities at LAC. This will allow us to remain one of the few central KY physical therapy clinics with in house aquatic therapy along with continued comprehensive physical therapy for orthopedic, sports medicine, neurological, vestibular therapy and pelvic health. We will also continue our wellness programs such as personal training and Pilates. Stay tuned for more updates as we move along in this next phase!

Congratulations to our PT techs Alyssa and Emma on their graduation from UK this weekend and both were accepted into PT school starting this fall! They are both going to make great PTs and will make a difference in the lives of others. Way to go girls!
