MYTH BUSTING MONDAY💭🩵
Let’s talk about one of the biggest skincare myths…
👉🏼 “Dermaplaning makes your hair grow back thicker.”
FALSE ❌
Dermaplaning does NOT change your hair’s thickness, color, or growth rate.
Here’s why:
Your hair grows from the follicle beneath the skin. Treatments like dermaplaning only remove hair at the surface, so they physically cannot change the structure of the hair.
So why does it feel different when it grows back?
When the hair is removed, it grows back with a blunt edge instead of a natural tapered tip. That can make it feel slightly coarser at first but it’s the SAME hair.
No darker. No thicker. No faster growth.
✨ Just smoother skin
✨ Better product absorption
✨ Flawless makeup application
Save this for the next time someone tells you dermaplaning will make you “hairy”.😉
