Botox vs. Xeomin. Which neurotoxin is right for you?

Both Botox and Xeomin are neuromodulators that work by temporarily relaxing the muscles responsible for expression lines like forehead lines, frown lines, and crow’s feet. The result is smoother skin and a more refreshed appearance.

So what makes them different?

Botox contains accessory proteins that surround the active botulinum toxin molecule. These proteins help stabilize the formula.

Xeomin is considered a “naked” neurotoxin because it contains only the purified active ingredient without those extra proteins.
