Check out the Pop-Up Story Hour with Starfire Council Friday. We will be there in support of the Rural Community Access Project that the Hutchinson’s completed in KY. Starfire is a partner with us on our grant through the Commonwealth Council on Developmental Disabilities.

Our next Pop-Up Story Hour is almost here. This month, the Hutchison Family invites us into their Kit Bashing project and the relationships that grew from sharing their passion with others.

This Kentucky-based project was made possible with support from the Commonwealth Council on Developmental Disabilities, and we are deeply grateful for their partnership in helping bring this work to life.

Small but mighty! That’s one way to describe . We never set out to be the biggest, but we did want to be one of the best! That reputation has built solidly (over the last almost 11 years! 😅).

In addition to community engagement, employment services, person-centered planning through the Liberty Plan, independent housing resources, clinical mental health services, parent supports and more, we are now pleased to introduce our Little Pantry! Executive Director, Rachael Lanter says, “We want this to be a permanent resource, just anything we can do to help support our folks.” Beginning next year we will also have a small clothes closet for interview and job wear. Stay tuned and send us a DM if you have a need for some non-perishable food before the holiday.

And, a huge thanks to all who donated to our over the last 2 months. In addition to building our own small food bank, we donated $750 (to make 4,500 meals) to in Central KY.

🤩 $500 equaling 3,000 meals raised for + loads of canned and boxed food goods to feed in need. That’s what we raised just last week!!

🏃‍♀️ We’ve decided to keep the momentum going and will continue our Community at least through the end of the year.

💰 All donations made through Facebook or our website at https://www.buildinclusion.org/donate through the end of the year will go to God’s Pantry.
