From Saluda Shoals Park: We’re excited to introduce Sensory Santa, a special holiday experience for children and adults with sensory processing and/or cognitive disabilities and their families!

Participants can take a picture with Santa during a designated time block, with each block limited to five families to reduce crowds and noise. While waiting, families can enjoy fun, sensory-friendly activities in the event space.

Each admission includes one 5x7 photo with Santa (additional photo packages available for purchase).

📅 Sunday, November 30 | 1–5 p.m.
📍 Environmental Education Center at Saluda Shoals Park
All ages | $20 per family
Additional activities will be available around the facility for families to enjoy. (Holiday Lights passes sold separately.)

Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive on December 11 at 4 p.m. (departing at 6:30 p.m.) and come to the lobby to spread holiday cheer! This event will be free and open to the public - not just for passengers.

▶️ Opportunities to see "Heroes & Villains: The Art of the Disney Costume" in a sensory-friendly environment
▶️ Special sensory showing of the returning planetarium experience, "Áróra"
▶️ Character Meet-and-Greet with Madeline (ASL)
▶️ Quieter exploration of the museum's galleries
▶️ Sensory Room to help guests find their calm and focus
▶️ Meet with Program Partners to learn more about local accessibility focused groups and organizations

Capital City Therapy Group was founded in 2011, our mission is to provide quality services that help children increase overall independence and reach their full potential. CCTG provides speech, feeding and occupational therapy services to children aged birth to 10 years old. We work closely with parents, pediatricians, early interventionists and other healthcare professionals to ensure our kids get an individualized plan of care.
