Spring forward is almost here. Help your child adjust without the bedtime battles.

Avoid sudden schedule changes and ease into the new time by shifting bedtime a little earlier each night. Start about four days before the time change and move it up by 15 minutes each evening. For example, if bedtime is 8:00 p.m., try 7:45 p.m., then 7:30 p.m., and continue until you’re close to 7:00 p.m.

Small changes can make a big difference for smoother nights and happier mornings.

Tips for Helping Toddlers Brush Their Teeth

Brushing can be tricky for toddlers, but these tips make it fun and positive:
-Toothbrush Play: Let them explore the toothbrush first.
-Mirror Fun: Watch themselves brush for engagement.
-Sing Along: Add songs or music during brushing.
-Sensory Brushes: Use soft, textured grips.
-Visual Schedule: Show a brushing routine visually.
-Modeling: Brush alongside your toddler.
-Play Dentist: Let them brush toy teeth.
-Flavored Toothpaste: Choose a flavor they like.
-Positive Reinforcement: Praise efforts, big or small.
-Timer Fun: Brush for two minutes with a timer or app.

Patience and consistency help make brushing a fun habit that supports lifelong dental health.
