These reviews help reduce unnecessary medications, minimize side effects, and support residents in feeling their best day to day—offering added reassurance for families and an extra layer of thoughtful clinical oversight.

A life seasoned with passion, creativity, and connection 🍝💙

Giovanni Freda’s story is one shaped by hard work and a deep love of cooking. After moving to the United States, he studied electrical engineering at the University of Kentucky and even helped pave the way for collegiate soccer. But it was in the kitchen where Giovanni truly found his calling. From managing a Holiday Inn in Morehead to opening beloved Kentucky restaurants like The Cave, Mamma Mia, and the four-star Executive House, cooking has always been more than a career. It’s been a lifelong hobby and a way to bring people together.

We’re so glad to spotlight Gio and his love of cooking during Hobbies Month with our Lantern family.
