Sometimes you have to ask yourself …

Do I want to be healed ?

For me I felt in my soul that I want to heal. And I wanted Jesus to heal me. But my flesh and the coping mechanisms I created in the unhealed spaces without Jesus, created this feeling of unworthiness.

This unworthiness to live new, to live this new beautiful life I’ve been given.

How do I walk as this new person?

How does a righteous person accept and live out these blessings?

It’s all so complex but boils down to surrender. I’ve learned so much through surrender..

I hope you surrender today I mean truly surrender

Because if I could tell you one thing it is so peaceful my friend

I hope you feel seen beautiful and heard today ❤️

Next week is fishing 🎣

Why is nature important ?

Nature is important in repairing functional impairment because it restores what stress and trauma often damage clarity, movement, emotional balance, and the ability to engage with life.

In the quiet of nature, the mind heals, the body regulates, and the spirit remembers how to function again.

Most importantly I hope you feel safe 🙏

If they keep wasting their energy on you, remember this: you matter enough to stay on their mind. People don’t invest time in what means nothing to them.

We share stories so you know there's hope after the madness!

Today, we talk about Gary. Gary is now enrolled to take his classes at BCTC to learn to read and write 💪🏼. The strength it takes to admit that as a man is something most can't go through or even fathom!

Now let's talk about his partner, Tabitha! She came to me when she entered the program and said, “I want to be a nurse”

She took the pre test at BCTC and was told she needed to study ! She studied went back and is now a full time student at BCTC 💪🏼

Recovery is possible and recovery is also possible along side your partner 💪🏼❤️🙏 YOU BOTH HAVE TO WANT IT 💪🏼

We are so proud of Tabitha and Gary !
Thank you Bluegrass Community & Technical College for always helping our clients !

Thank you to our staff who never let a request go unanswered or unnoticed !

Accountability and structure are vital to success in recovery. If you truly want to stay sober, you have to put as much effort into your recovery as you once put into getting high. There has to be a level of motivation a want, a need, a deep desire to say, this will not be me anymore.

Recovery is about changing habits, behaviors, and thought patterns.

You cannot stay sober with the same mindset that kept you stuck in addiction.

Healing takes more than simply talking about your problems. It requires action, consistency, honesty, and a willingness to grow. Recovery should focus on helping you understand your triggers, mental health, cravings, and relapse prevention but it should also prepare you for what comes after treatment.

What do you continue to apply when the sessions end? What do you carry with you into real life?

You cannot take a therapist everywhere you go, but you can take the tools you learned. You can take discipline, accountability, principles, healthy coping skills, support systems, and a new way of living.

Recovery is not a temporary fix. It is a lifestyle that must be practiced daily.

You will attend 5 AA meetings weekly in our program 📣
You will have a sponsor 📣❤️

If not we will help you find your happy place !

We do this to change lives not to enable anyone or program hoppers !

If you want to change your life call us ☎️ but if you want to do the same old thing this my friend is not the program for you 💪🏼

We won’t condone it 🤔

Surrender 📣

That’s on God !

What incredible pride shines brightly for these two, especially our sweet Amber!

Witnessing their journey has been a truly phenomenal experience. Overcoming addiction's stronghold is no trivial feat; it's a monumental achievement marked by perseverance, one steadfast step at a time.

They both excel in their full-time endeavors, garner support from sponsors, with one having triumphantly completed the AA steps and now guiding others, while Amber balances academics, and as of yesterday, they've secured stable housing 💪🏼

We are so proud of you Josh and Amber !
Remember your support group is only as small as you make it - don’t forget to stop by and call whenever!
