American Diabetes Month
Did you know that more than 25% of adults 65 years of age and older have diabetes?

Older adults with diabetes have the highest rates of complications, so it’s important that we help our seniors get the diabetes care they need.

Many seniors develop a sweet tooth because our taste buds change as we age. There are lots of great treats designed for diabetics, and they are smart to try if you are pre-diabetic, too.

🧠More than 11 million American caregivers provide over 18.4 billion hours of unpaid care.

We know it can be a tough decision for a caregiver to consider asking for help with a loved one with Alzheimer’s. Sometimes, skilled nursing and memory care support are the safest choice for both you and your loved one.

Morning Breeze Retirement Community & Healthcare Center enjoyed a safari adventure! Everyone enjoyed feeding the adorable baby monkey, playing Safari Bingo, all accompanied by delicious themed snacks.
We savored delectable monkey bites, tiger tails, and zebra cakes, among other treats. 🐒 🐅 🦓

Dover Care Center had a visit from the local high school students. Residents enjoyed playing catch with the football players and other fun games. Everybody enjoyed cooling off with snow cones and community support.
