On this day in 1823 our county government was officially formed with the Davidson County Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions. This court would remain in place until the formation of the Board of County Commissioners in 1868. Visit the Genealogy/Local History Room for our transcribed records of the Ps&Qs.
