Advocacy matters. Bluegrass Care Navigators welcomed Kentucky Representative Ryan Dotson to our headquarters for an informational discussion about nonprofit hospice care and the needs of the patients and families we serve. We appreciate the opportunity to share insights on compassionate end‑of‑life and senior care with our elected officials.

Bluegrass PACE Care participants and team members brought the spirit of Mardi Gras to the Bluegrass PACE Center last week with festive decor, beads, and laughter. We loved seeing everyone join in the fun and celebrate together! ✨

We’re excited to share that Bluegrass Care Navigators has received a $4,000 grant from the WHAS Crusade for Children! This funding will help us continue to offer Camp Hope, our one-day bereavement camp for children who have lost a loved one. Camp provides an opportunity for participants to express their grief, build friendships and develop effective coping strategies in a fun, safe and supportive environment.

A big thank you to the Crusade and its generous donors for supporting children’s health, education, and wellness for over 70 years.

Our Hazard team pulled out all the stops for their Volunteer Bes-Tea Party! 🫖 The team celebrated our Hazard volunteers that pour their time, talents, and kindness into the BCN community. From the laughter around the tables to the meaningful conversations over tea, it was a beautiful reminder of how special it is to gather and give thanks.

Join Bluegrass Care Navigators for a free grief support workshop and meal on Tuesday, March 3 at The Marksbury Family WayPoint Center, located at the Historic Palmer Pharmacy. This event is open to anyone coping with the loss of a loved one. All ages are welcome. Children must attend with an adult.
