Bluegrass Care Navigator’s Lexington-based volunteer Kate Fresca has been honored by the National Alliance for Care at Home, receiving the national Volunteer of the Year award this month at the alliance’s Annual Meeting & Exposition in New Orleans.

The Volunteer of the Year Award, recognizes outstanding volunteers or teams whose contributions have made a meaningful impact on care in the home. “We celebrate Fresca for embodying the spirit of service, compassion, and dedication that has a meaningful impact on our patient and families,” says Melanie Hagan, BCN Lexington’s volunteer and community liaison.
