Congratulations to our February Employee of the Month!

LaChelle goes above and beyond for her residents. She takes care of her residents and their rooms with love and respect that you can see. She is always smiling and willing to help anyone who needs it. Anytime she is asked to do something, she does so without hesitation and with dedication. During Thanksgiving, when they needed help transferring residents to cars so they could go home, she was one of the ones who jumped in to help without being asked, and later volunteered to leave the floor to help make sure this task got done so they could enjoy time with their families. She is an AWESOME CNA and Employee. We love having her here as part of our LHCC team!!!!

Loretta is truly an asset to Lexington Health Care Center. She started out here on the floor as a CNA on the floor and is AWESOME; the residents and other staff love her. When the role for Admissions Coordinator became available, we just knew she would be a great fit. She really cares about the residents here and is making this facility a great one. She shows her compassion each and every day, and she does it without saying a word, but we see it, and the residents come to tell us what she does for them. She makes each new resident feel right at home and is always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. She goes above and beyond each day, and we are proud to have her as a part of LHCC TEAM!!!

We traded in the sand and flamingos for snowflakes and penguins at our January Winter Luau. Staff and residents put their creativity to the test by sculpting with our homemade "snow." After all that hard work, we relaxed with a frozen pineapple drink.

Recipe for homemade snow: 3 cups baking soda and ½ cup hair conditioner (we used mango for tropical vibes).
