Parents often miss these sleep signs 👇

• Dark circles under the eyes
• Bedwetting
• ADHD-like behavior
• Sleeping with an open mouth

These can all be clues that a child may not be breathing or sleeping optimally at night.

Airway health and oral muscle function play a bigger role in sleep than most people realize.

If you’re seeing these signs in your child, it may be worth looking a little deeper.

💬 Message me if you’d like to schedule an evaluation.

Parents are often told or lead to believe that mouth breathing is ok because it provides more air. Lets discover why this is false...

As a Myofunctional Therapist, I have 3 daily goals for myself, for you and your child.

1️⃣ Tongue tip to spot (resting on the roof of the mouth)
2️⃣ Lips sealed
3️⃣ Nose breathing

Not just during exercises.
Not just when you remember.

DAY AND NIGHT!

Because proper oral rest posture supports:

✨ Healthy airway development
✨ Better sleep quality
✨ Balanced facial growth
✨ Improved focus & behavior
✨ Overall long-term health

It’s simple.
But it’s powerful.

Are you doing all three right now? If not, or you or your child have a hard time doing so, I can help you both!

✨ Jaw Pain Isn’t “Normal.” ✨

Do you struggle with:
• Jaw clicking or popping?
• Headaches or migraines?
• Facial tension or soreness?
• Clenching or grinding?
• Ear pain or pressure?

You may be dealing with TMJD (Temporomandibular Joint Disorder).

The TMJ (temporomandibular joint) is the hinge that connects your jaw to your skull and when it’s overworked, imbalanced, or strained, it can create pain far beyond just the jaw.

This is where Myofunctional Therapy can help.

Through gentle, targeted exercises, I work to:
✔️ Improve tongue posture
✔️ Reduce clenching and grinding patterns
✔️ Balance facial and jaw muscles
✔️ Support proper breathing
✔️ Decrease strain on the TMJ

When the muscles function properly, the joint doesn’t have to compensate and that’s when relief can begin.

If you’re tired of waking up sore, living with tension, or constantly rubbing your jaw… there is another option.

Message me if you’d like to learn more about how Myofunctional Therapy can support you. You don’t have to live in discomfort.

These look simple, but they tell us a LOT.

👅 Tongue to Spot → Is your child aware of where their tongue should rest?
💨 P**f Count → Can they keep a strong lip seal?
👅 Skinny Tongue → Do they have tongue control and strength?

When these skills aren’t solid, we often see:
• Mouth breathing
• Open-mouth posture
• Sleep concerns
• Crowding
• Speech challenges

If you or your child struggles with any of these, don’t ignore it.

Let’s talk. Message me for an evaluation.

Quick weekend reminder:

😴Snoring in kids isn't "just cute" or "just allergies"

It can be a sign of:
-Mouth breathing😮
-Poor tongue posture😋
-Airway restriction🫩
AND it is something we should pay attention to early. If your child snores, even occasionally, it's worth a conversation!

Awareness first. Always.💚

Yes! I make funny faces for a living 😆

Yes, I talk about tongues all day, and YES, it actually changes lives.

Small muscle shifts=BIG breathing changes.
So, I am over here looking funny, but saving airways one session at a time🙃 🎬
