After attending our public town hall meeting with our sheriff, public health department and emergency management staff. We are not in any danger or in a flooding area with the lower flower creek water reservoir. Rest assured, our residents and staff are safe.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
December 12, 2025
To the notified areas:
A warning message from the City of Libby and Lincoln County.
Recent flood conditions may have compromised the Lower Flower Creek Diversion Dam.
Information received from engineers this evening indicates the dam has the potential for failure but is
holding.
In the event the dam does fail, the resulting water flow could affect the notified area.
Residents wishing to relocate may do so can contact 406-293-6295

Just wanted to post an update. Libby Care Center has not been affected by the flooding and is not at any risk at this time. We are working directly with the County Incident Management/Emergency Management for updates. Everyone is safe and cozy!!

Special shout out to our community members who have come together to get sand bags ready to help & to our amazing first responders including our road workers for being out in this and jumping into action.

When Montana can’t figure out if it’s supposed to be winter or spring and you have a lack of sunshine, you bring the joy with inflatable costumes and squirrel shots AKA little cups of energy drinks to keep you going. The residents had a blast watching us make fools out of ourselves 😂🩷🩷.

Annual community trick-or-treat at Libby Care Center. Please bring down the kiddos to the main dining room. Residents have lots of candy to hand out. 3 to 4 PM on Halloween. We look forward to seeing all the great costumes!

We are seeking 4 licensed nurses.

RN or LPN for day shift : Full time day shift: Schedule is as follows: Week 1 work: M/T/F/Sat/Sun, Week 2 work: Wed/Th this continually rotates. Allowing for built in overtime and every other weekend off. Shift differential from 2-6 PM. Shifts run from 0600-1800

The other schedule for day shift is Friday-Sunday for week 1 and Friday-Monday for week 2. This shift runs from 0600-1800

We are seeking a part time licensed nurse. RN or LPN to work Monday-Friday from 1800-2200.

RN Full time NOC Shift: Full time NOC shift: Schedule is as follows: Week 1 work: M/T/F/Sat/Sun, Week 2 work: Wed/Th this continually rotates. Allowing for built in overtime and every other weekend off. Shift differential from 2-6 PM and 10 pm to 6 am. This position also has charge pay per hour.

Our beloved nurse Arlona Swennes is leaving us to further her education and make some great moves for her family. To say we will miss her is an understatement.
