To all of our Libby Care Center friends and families. We have power and all the necessities we need, however our phone system works off of Internet. We are at the mercy of storm clean up for them to get back online. Please don’t be alarmed, everyone is safe and taken care of. We have been utilizing personal cell phones to make needed calls. I am not in the facility after 5 but have direct access to the care givers and can get your information or a check up right away.

It’s a beautiful sunshiny day for Squirrel Shots (energy drinks) with the staff. The residents had a blast with the blow ups. If you seen a small armed T Rex, a ravenous squirrel, a rowdy raccoon and a sassy shark rolling down the street- mind ya business 🤣🤣🤣

We wanted to express the most sincere gratitude for making our residents' Christmas Party so amazing. Participating in the tree of giving at Rosauer's truly makes for a memory our residents will not forget. The dining room was so full of love and laughter today. Santa arrived with his wife Mrs. Claus, with their elves to assist. The residents cheered when they saw him. We heard "Wow, look at this", "That was so thoughtful" and even "OW OW!!".

Small gestures like this make such an impact and we are so grateful for YOU!!

After attending our public town hall meeting with our sheriff, public health department and emergency management staff. We are not in any danger or in a flooding area with the lower flower creek water reservoir. Rest assured, our residents and staff are safe.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
December 12, 2025
To the notified areas:
A warning message from the City of Libby and Lincoln County.
Recent flood conditions may have compromised the Lower Flower Creek Diversion Dam.
Information received from engineers this evening indicates the dam has the potential for failure but is
holding.
In the event the dam does fail, the resulting water flow could affect the notified area.
Residents wishing to relocate may do so can contact 406-293-6295

Just wanted to post an update. Libby Care Center has not been affected by the flooding and is not at any risk at this time. We are working directly with the County Incident Management/Emergency Management for updates. Everyone is safe and cozy!!

Special shout out to our community members who have come together to get sand bags ready to help & to our amazing first responders including our road workers for being out in this and jumping into action.

When Montana can’t figure out if it’s supposed to be winter or spring and you have a lack of sunshine, you bring the joy with inflatable costumes and squirrel shots AKA little cups of energy drinks to keep you going. The residents had a blast watching us make fools out of ourselves 😂🩷🩷.
