Liberal, Kansas, Takes the Gold! Hannah McCarter Secures Victory in the 2026 International Pancake Day Race

LIBERAL, KS — The results are in, and the 2026 International Pancake Day Race has a new champion! We are thrilled to announce that Hannah McCarter has won the International Race, crossing the finish line with an impressive time of 1:03.78 (rounded to 1:03 for final standings).

This year’s competition was a trans-Atlantic showdown between Liberal, Kansas, and Olney, England. While Olney’s top runner finished with a strong time of 1:05, it wasn’t enough to catch McCarter, who led Liberal to another historic victory.

With this latest win, Liberal continues to dominate the long-standing international rivalry:

Liberal, Kansas: 43 Wins

Olney, England: 31 Wins

No Contest: 3
