A recent patient came in with cough and shortness of breath, and the diagnosis wasn’t clear from symptoms alone. 61-year-old Modern Care DPC patient called with high blood pressure from her home monitor. Within 30 minutes, we saw her in clinic, confirmed elevated BP, detected abnormal heart sounds, and an in-house EKG revealed atrial fibrillation (heart rhythm abnormality). Medications prescribed and follow-up arranged and treatment started same evening. Accelerated care, better outcomes!
