The Empath’s Becoming

Her empathic heart was never meant
to absorb the world’s sorrows,
yet it learned early how to hold storms
that were not her own.

She became an open meadow
where every joy and sorrow were witnessed ~
and feeling souls hurting from unspoken battles,
seeds blown astray from unmet seasons,
and hearts not knowing where else to land.

For the longest time her heart confused
allowing with love.
It let rivers overflow,
thinking drowning was devotion.

Then one day, the souls longing rumbled ….

The light within her heart felt the soil give way,
feeling the ache of too much sorrow and rain,
and then something ancient shifted within ~

She became the entire forest,
not the clearing.

Learning that trees do not heal
by bending forever during the storms ~
they deepen their roots,
they lean into the mycelium,
that hidden web whispering,
You are not alone in this exchange.

The empathic heart becoming the holistic healer
when it stopped chasing the pain
and started listening to her sacred voice within.

Becoming the way shower of the light ~
holding space without losing shape,
allowing flow without erosion.

Now the healer works within the sacred spirals not rescuing,
but listening and feeling for the souls’ longings
within the seasons of life,
and piece by peace ~ illuminating the soul.

This is the sacred evolution:
from absorbing the world
to stewarding it,
from bleeding for others
to becoming the sacred medicine.

A Quiet Invitation

There is a quiet knocking
beneath my heart,
a tender ache that does not beg ~
but is waiting….

It is the longing to be seen
without armor,
to have the soft places noticed
and held with care.

To be loved
not for the shine I offer the world,
but for the tremble in my voice
when I speak my truth.

To be valued
not by what I give or achieve,
but by the simple miracle
of my being here.

This is the invitation:
to step forward as I am,
unhidden, unfinished, real.

To let another witness me
and not turn away.
To let myself believe
I am worthy of your gaze.

No grand arrival is required ~
only the courage
to open the door
and say, I am here.

And still, the question lingers ~
soft as breath against my skin:
Will you stay?

When my shadows stretch long
and my light grows tired,
when old fears speak louder
than my hope.

Will you still love me
when I falter,
when the carefully held pieces loosen
and fall?

When the parts I hide
ask to be seen too ~
the doubt, the ache,
the places still learning how to trust.

Can you sit with the whole of me,
the glow and the grief,
the rising and the retreat,
without asking me to choose?

This is the deeper invitation:
to be met in all my seasons,
to be loved not despite my shadows,
but alongside them.

To hear you say, gently,
I see it all ~
and I am not leaving,

I am here….

When the Light Remembers

On the longest night,
the natural world holds its breath—
roots curled deep in the dark,
and seeds are dreaming beneath the soil.

The sun pauses,
a sacred stillness,
as if asking the earth:
Are you ready to begin again?

Candles illuminate like ancient prayers,
small but brave,
reminding the shadows
they were never meant to stay.

In the womb of winter,
nothing is gone—
only resting,
gathering strength in stillness.

The earth listens.
The rivers sing beneath their sparkling ice.
The flowers and trees whisper to the sun and stars:
We remember how to bloom.

And then—
almost unnoticed—
the light shines longer.
A promise, not questioned, but certain.

Day by day,
it returns with patience,
threading gold through the dark,
awakening the pulse of becoming.

This is the season of faith:
when life stirs before it is seen,
when hope is born
in the quietest place.

The sun rises again ~
and so do we.
