Anger gets a bad reputation, but it’s often not the real problem.
Anger is usually protecting something underneath it:
– hurt
– rejection
– fear
– feeling unseen or powerless
When anger is the only emotion that feels “allowed,” it steps in and does its job - loudly.
The work isn’t to get rid of anger.
It’s to understand what it’s trying to protect.
When we slow it down and get curious about what’s underneath, things start to shift.
If you find yourself reacting quickly or feeling like your emotions go from 0 to 100, there’s usually more to the story—and it’s worth exploring.
