Hello Clients and Friends! I hope this message finds you all well! .. I’ve had to implement a new cancellation protocol as I’ve had quite a few people who have cancelled last minute lately. As most of you know it can be nearly impossible to find an opening without waiting sometimes 2 months to get in. I do have a waiting list and that helps sometimes. But to make it more fair for those of you who need to get in, Ive had to make a tough decision to have a more strict protocol for cancellations. As I have had no shows who somehow have been able to avoid the cancellation fee, and it’s usually the same individuals who cancel last minute over and over, some who schedule very big services, leaving 2 hour gaps in my day that cannot be filled last minute. Those individuals who have cancelled last minute more than a handful of times in the last year without leaving enough time for someone else to be able to grab the opening or for the individuals who have not paid for their no show or late cancellation fees the system will no longer allow you to book online appointments. This is an automatic response set in place. I hope this helps those of you who have been waiting to get in. Yesterday I received my Reiki Master level 3 Attunement from a wonderful, amazing woman I’m so very grateful to have been guided to. This journey with Reiki for me started when I was 20 years old when a random guest at a hotel I was working at gave me a reiki attunement that opened up a series of miracles for me in my healing journey. A couple of years later I started massage school and received regular treatments from one of my instructors who saw my battle with psoriasis and immediately reached out a helping hand literally. I was covered from head to toe with painful lesions for 10 years of my life when she so graciously worked on me and my psoriasis physically healed before my eyes within weeks. It’s been almost 20 years since she did this for me and my psoriasis is still in remission. This was a complete miracle for me. She changed my life. Reiki changed my life. And I knew at that point Reiki would be a part of my life forever. At 27 I was invited to a Reiki level 1 attunement and certification class that was offered at a local New Age Shop and I jumped at the opportunity with no hesitation. I received my first Reiki Level 2 attunement just 9 months later at 28. I practiced for over a decade with traditional reiki hand placement treatments and what I liked to call “Chakra Balancing” treatments for the next decade.. I desperately wanted to find a Master Teacher who would be the perfect fit for me to continue my attunements and certifications but I struggled in “trusting the process”… When you KNOW your path and you KNOW what’s meant for you, it’s easy to want to rush things. But you absolutely have to have certain experiences to get you to the places you are MEANT to be! Without those experiences you’re cheating yourself out of the process of BECOMING and STEPPING INTO YOUR TRUE PURPOSE. So I asked for guidance and I let go of my own ideas of how things should be and I TRUSTED the universe to bring the right person to me. That’s when my sisters childhood friend popped up on my Facebook and my soul just knew. Last year I received my second Reiki Level 2 Attunement and certification which really opening me up to this next phase of my life. I was ready. I had given myself the time, the experiences and the patience to get to this point. I allowed myself this past 10 months to really embrace and grow in my Reiki practice. Connecting to Reiki energy as often as possible, giving to myself and others and reading all the books that were suggested to me along this journey and I again gave it to the universe to let me know when it was time for my Reiki Master Attunement and Certification. Over this last 10 months I have developed an overwhelming Gratitude for Reiki and a high level of respect and appreciation for myself for everything I went through to get to this place. And I am eternally grateful to the Universes Unconditional Love and Support and for re-introducing me to Rachel Sosa who is an absolute gift and a treasure! I highly recommend Readings and Reiki with Rachel! I couldn’t have asked for a better person to guide and teach and attune me, helping me to easily step into the next phase of my journey. 🩷✨Thank you Rachel!

Happy New Year! I know this year will bring many blessings to all of you! It’s my hope each and every one has a year full of lots of hugs, and an abundance of joy and laughter, a heart full of love and a mind at peace.

My name is Amanda Hanson and I am a Licensed Massage Therapist in Kansas City, MO. I absolutely love what I do and I honestly can't imagine doing anything else. I received my Associates Degree in Occupational Studies in Massage Therapy in September of 2010 and I have been working as a licensed massage therapist since October of 2010. Although, it is true what they say, when you Love what you do, it rarely feels like work.

I specialize in Swedish, therapeutic, deep tissue, prenatal and hot stone massage. As well as certification in MRT (Muscle Release Technique). Training and experience in reflexology, lymphatic massage, Reiki (energy healing) and Chinese cupping treatments.

I've worked in both spa and wellness spa so I also have training and knowledge in aromatherapy use including raindrop therapy, sugar scrubs, body wraps and mini facial services.
