From 9am to 3pm on Thursday, Dec. 1, temporary closures will affect some roads near Liberty Hospital. If you plan to be at the hospital during these times, expect traffic delays or plan alternate routes. Check out a map and follow the progress at the City of Liberty, Mo. Government page.

The U.S. is facing a surge of respiratory viruses at a rate much higher than usual at this time of year and infants and children may be susceptible. If you have concerns about your baby's symptoms, reach out to your Liberty Hospital Primary Care provider or pediatrician for steps you should take.

Parents and caregivers: This time of year, brings more respiratory viruses like respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), which can be very serious for infants and young children with certain medical conditions or a weakened immune system. The only symptoms in very young infants may be:

• Irritability
• Decreased activity
• Decreased appetite
• Apnea (pauses while breathing)

Every year, there is something special, something that stands out, at the Kyleigh’s Gift Run Walk & Candlelight. We are always amazed by your stories and your strength. This is a hard event for many people, yet we all come together to remember and celebrate the good.

💛 $28,917 raised for infant wellness education and parental support for pregnancy & infant loss
💛 57 names read at the candlelight ceremony
💛 90 people attended the Wave of Light Candlelight Ceremony

The Wave of Light ceremony was the largest we’ve ever had, both in the number of names read and in attendance. It is important to have a place to come and remember. It matters.
