Liberty Community Living Center is proud to invest in continued education and excellence in care!

Today, our Administrator, Stephanie Andrews, LSW, LNHA , and Social Worker, Lundyn Causey, LSW attended the Ronald Morton Elder Care Social Work Conference hosted by Mississippi College.

During this one-day conference, they gained valuable insight from expert speakers on key topics including long-term care Medicaid, dementia care, and mandated reporting for abuse and neglect—knowledge that directly strengthens the care and support we provide to our residents and families every day.

We’re excited to put what they’ve learned into action as we continue raising the standard of care at Liberty!

Today we were treated to a visit from some absolutely charming guests and it was an absolute delight to interact with them. They displayed remarkable tameness and affection. Thank you Bristol Hospice and Mrs. Heather for sharing your special friends with us.

Our residents hit the town Friday night for the Spring Stage Band Show, and let’s just say… it was an absolute blast! From toe-tapping tunes to big smiles all around, the night was filled with music, laughter, and memories we won’t soon forget. 💃🕺

A HUGE shoutout to Southwest Mississippi Community College for going above and beyond for us! Not only did they warmly welcome our group, but they made sure we were comfortably seated and even made some last-minute adjustments without hesitation. That kind of kindness does not go unnoticed 💙

We are so thankful for a community that shows up for our residents in such meaningful ways. Nights like these remind us that joy doesn’t have an age limit 🎶✨

Unfortunately, we didn't capture many photos as everyone was too engaged in eating. On Wednesday, our crawfish chowder social was a huge success and the food was absolutely delicious!
It was sherrif approved👍👍

If HR had a superhero cape… it would 100% belong to Ashley ✨

We bring her our problems, our questions, our “hey… quick question” moments (that are never actually quick 😅)… and somehow she keeps us all from completely losing it.
From hiring heroes, to keeping us in line, to making sure we don’t get fired (we see you 👀😂)… Ashley does it all with a smile and the patience of a saint.
So today we say THANK YOU, Ashley!
You deserve all the sweet treats, all the appreciation, and maybe even a quiet day… (we’ll try not to interrupt you… no promises 😉)

🌸☀️ Spring Fling Recap – Full Hearts & Blue Lips Edition! ☀️🌸

If joy had a flavor this weekend… it would’ve been blue raspberry cotton candy 💙😄

We want to send the biggest, warmest THANK YOU to our amazing community for coming out and celebrating our Spring Fling with us and our residents. Seeing the laughter, hugs, and full parking lot made our hearts so full. There is just something special about Liberty showing up for its own 🫶

A sweet shoutout to Dignity Hospice for bringing the cotton candy magic! Judging by the bright blue lips and even brighter smiles in these pictures… it was a HIT (and yes, we will be finding blue fingerprints for days 😂).

Thank you to Enhabit for setting up and bringing those delicious cookies — because what’s a party without a little sugar and a lot of happiness? 🍪💛

And to our incredible staff — y’all didn’t just show up… y’all showed OUT! From the spring outfits to the food to the smiles you brought with you, you made this day feel like sunshine wrapped in a hug 🌼

Most importantly, thank you for loving on our residents the way you do. That’s what made this day truly special.

Already counting down to the next one… and maybe stocking up on more cotton candy 💙😉
