🧠🎤 TRIVIA FIGHT: Residents vs. Staff 🎤🧠
It was a battle of brains.
A duel of knowledge.
A showdown sharper than the cafeteria’s plastic forks.
Residents came in focused… brows furrowed, eyes squinted, channeling their inner game show champions. You could practically hear the gears turning. 🔍💭
Meanwhile, staff?
Half answering questions… half “encouraging” the residents with totally innocent commentary like:
“Y’all KNOW this one!”
and
“We just talked about this in 1972!” 😏
The competition was fierce. The tension? Thicker than gravy on Sunday lunch.
🏆 Staff Champion: Lundyn, our very own Social Worker and apparently part-time trivia assassin. She came in smiling sweet… left with the crown. 👑
🏆 Resident Champion: Jimmy! Calm, collected, and dropping correct answers like confetti. 🎉
Let’s just say… the staff may have won some points, but the residents won the crowd. And possibly the rematch.

Sunshine + Golden Oldies + Bubbles = pure magic ✨🎶🫧

Today our gazebo turned into a little time machine. The speakers were playing the golden oldies, the weather was showing off, and before we knew it… bubbles were floating through the air like tiny disco balls.

Residents were tapping their toes, humming along, and reaching up to pop bubbles like kids on summer break. When the sun shines like that, you don’t stay inside… you grab a chair, turn up the music, and let the good times roll.

Some were singing.
Some were laughing.
Some were just soaking it all in.

Days like this are the sweet ones. 🌤️

🎉🎂 Birthday Bash + Cake = Pure Happiness! 🎂🎉
A huge THANK YOU to Dignity Hospice for providing the delicious birthday cake for our monthly celebration and for jumping right in to help serve our residents. Y’all didn’t just bring dessert… you brought smiles with frosting on top! 🍰💛
Our staff showed up as always with laughter, extra helping hands, and the kind of joy that makes a party feel like family. From cutting cake to helping residents enjoy every last bite, it was teamwork at its sweetest.
And let’s talk about that raffle! 🎟️ Some very lucky staff and residents went home with adorable stuffed animals. Let’s just say a few new “roommates” were claimed today, and we may or may not have seen some competitive raffle strategies unfolding. 🧸😂
Another month, another beautiful celebration filled with love, laughter, and just the right amount of icing. 💕

Our Tuesday Uno games have reached new heights of popularity and competitiveness, necessitating the use of three tables to accommodate all of our enthusiastic competitors, and we'd like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the missionaries from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for their consistent presence every Tuesday at 2pm, bringing immense joy to our residents through our beloved Uno games.

🎭💜💛💚 Laissez les bons temps rouler at Liberty Community Living Center! 💚💛💜🎭
Today we turned our dining room into a little slice of Bourbon Street thanks to our friends at American Health Advantage! They came in ready to party and helped our residents and staff create the cutest Mardi Gras crafts you’ve ever seen.
There was glitter.
There were feathers.
There were beads for days.

Our residents had the best time stringing beads, laughing, and showing off their creations like true parade royalty. And let’s just say when someone yelled, “Throw me something, mister!” the beads were flying… but don’t worry — nobody had to lift up their shirts to earn them. We keep it classy in Liberty! 😆💜

A huge thank you to American Health Advantage for bringing the festive fun and helping us celebrate in true Mardi Gras style. We appreciate you pouring into our residents and making the day extra special.

We would like to send a BIG thank you to Amite School Center for coming to visit our residents and spreading so much Valentine’s Day love! 💌🌹
The smiles, sweet conversations, and precious moments shared between students and residents truly made our day special. There’s something magical about different generations coming together, and you could feel the joy all throughout the building.
Thank you to the students and staff who took the time to brighten hearts and make lasting memories. Our residents are still talking about it! 💕
We are so grateful for our community partnerships and the kindness that surrounds us.
