🎄 What Happens at the Ugly Sweater Party... Stays at the Party! 🤫💃

Our staff pulled out all the stops today for our Ugly Christmas Sweater Party, and let’s just say—the sweaters weren't the only things making a statement!

We had an absolute blast dancing the afternoon away, but we have a strict "No Evidence" policy regarding the dance floor. 🚫📸 Those photos and videos are staying in the vault because we simply cannot have proof of the moves this crew can bust out! Some things are better left to the imagination (and kept off the internet)! 🕺✨

When we weren't "not dancing," we were busy feastin'! A huge thank you for the incredible spread of:
* 🍗 BBQ Chicken Wings
* 🍝 Cheesy Lasagna & Garlic Bread
* 🍢 Savory Sausage Balls
* 🫘 Famous Baked Beans
* 🍰 ...and enough desserts to keep us on a sugar high until New Year's!

To top it all off, every staff member got to throw their name in the bucket for some awesome prize drawings! 🎁🎟️

We love our team and the joy they bring to our building every day—even if they do have some questionable dance moves and even more questionable sweaters.

Today we celebrated our December birthdays. Thank you Dignity Hospice MS for the amazing cake and ice cream and the helping caring hands. And a big shout out to all the employees that helped out today.

🌟 Audit Excellence at Liberty Community Living Center! 🌟

We have some incredible news to share! Our team just sailed through our annual case mix audit from Medicare and Medicaid with flying colors! 🎊

We want to give a special shoutout to Brandy Wheat, who joined our team in July. Bringing 7 years of specialized knowledge and experience, Brandy’s incredible attention to detail was instrumental in this success.

In true team player fashion, when thanked for her hard work, Brandy was quick to share the credit. She noted that the vital support and guidance from our Administrator, Stephanie Andrews, and Director of Nursing, Catrena Cotton(not pictured), were what truly made this achievement possible. 🤝❤️

We were also honored to have Holly Madden travel all the way from the MS Coast to hand-deliver our certificate and celebrate this victory with the team! 📜✨

Success like this doesn’t happen by accident—it happens because of a dedicated staff that cares about doing things the right way for our residents.

🎄 From Crafts to Christmas Carols—and Concert Moves! 🎤😂

A massive thank you to the wonderful Amite County VoTech Business and Technical students for spending the morning with our residents!
The students did an amazing job leading a fun Christmas craft session and then spreading cheer with some beautiful carols. Our residents absolutely loved the time and talent shared by these bright young people!

**However, we need to talk about Ms. Crystal!** 🤣

During the rendition of "All I Want For Christmas Is You," Ms. Crystal completely stole the show with a sudden outbreak of full Mariah Carey choreography! We think she might have a secret life as a pop diva. Our residents were laughing, singing along, and giving her a hefty round of applause!

Thank you again to all the students and the multi-talented Ms. Crystal for bringing so much joy and entertainment to Liberty Community Living Center!

❤️ Red Hot Holiday Crew! ❤️

It’s **Wear Red to Work Day** at Liberty Community Living Center, and our amazing team showed up bringing all the holiday cheer! We might look like Santa's backup squad, but we're really just passionate about our residents (and matching sweaters)!

We wish everyone a joyful and bright holiday season!

🎉 Thank You, Liberty Chamber of Commerce! 🎉

A huge and heartfelt THANK YOU to the Liberty Chamber of Commerce for routing the annual parade right through our parking lot!

Seeing the bright colors, hearing the music, and feeling the energy of the community brought such incredible joy to our residents. Every float that came by paused to wave and show love, and the residents were so thrilled!

The absolute highlight? Not only did the Grinch, proving he does have a heart after all, actually climb off his float to personally hug some of our residents, but the floats were also so kind to carefully toss our residents candy and goodies!! It was a truly heartwarming moment that showed everyone the true spirit of Christmas.

This simple gesture made such a difference and truly brought the spirit of the season right to our doorstep. Thank you for making our residents feel so loved and connected to the heart of Liberty! ❤️

We are so proud to be a part of this amazing community!

🚨 NERD ALERT: The Evidence is In! 🚨

Today was Dress Like a Nerd Day, and let's just say, the competition was fierce—but we think we have a clear winner!

We tried to warn our staff that this was a *costume* contest, but Ms. Janelle, clearly has been preparing for this her whole life!

* Those magnifying-glass glasses? Check.
* The mismatched, perfectly terrible socks? Check.
* The look of intense focus necessary to analyze the true meaning of Christmas? CHECK.

We are so glad our team (and especially our residents!) embrace the silly side of the holidays! The only thing missing is a pocket protector filled with gingerbread crumbs. 😂

We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Mrs. Ann from Compassus Hospice on Wednesday. We made beautiful Christmas ornaments,ate cookies, listened to festive music, and had a wonderful conversation throughout the morning. We were also pleased to receive a visit from a special guest.
