This graduation season, keep our teens’ futures bright!
Please don’t allow or provide alcohol to minors. Because our teens’ brains are still developing until their mid-20s, they’re more vulnerable to the harms of drinking, including addiction.
In fact, the large majority of Northland teens choose not to drink, so it’s important that we as adults help reinforce this healthy behavior!

Northland parents are leading the way! By choosing not to provide alcohol to teens, you’re part of the strong majority helping keep prom night safe and fun. Most teens celebrate without alcohol—and adults play a powerful role in supporting that choice.

Everyone has a role in keeping our kids and teens safe! Just remember to Watch, Drop, and Talk!
👀Watch - Know what prescriptions are in your house and keep track of how many you have.
📮Drop - Don’t keep unused, unwanted, or expired prescriptions in your home. Drop them off at your local prescription drop boxes at your pharmacy or police station, or dispose of them safely at home.
💬Talk - Have intentional conversations about prescription medicines with kids and teens in your life. Teach them they should never share their prescription with someone else, and should never take another person’s prescription medication.
