For many women, emotional connection with their baby begins in the quiet moment of an ultrasound. She sees the heartbeat. She recognizes the shape of a growing child. She starts imagining the days and years ahead.

We are pleased to introduce Hannah Ford who recently joined our LWC staff as one of our Staff Nurses. Take a minute to get to know her as she talks about her heart for this ministry!

What brought you to LWC?
I have known and admired the work of the LWC for a long time but then Holly Williams told me of an opening and encouraged me to apply. Because of my own story of unplanned pregnancy, God has given me a deep compassion for women facing an unplanned pregnancy and a desire to share His love with them.

What do you love most about the ministry of LWC?
I love that Jesus is the ultimate answer for everyone and LWC gets to meet real life needs of clients while pointing them to Jesus.

How do you feel about joining the staff?
I am humbled to join the LWC staff. The LWC staff are so knowledgeable and have a deep desire to serve our community well.

"We greatly appreciate the work of Liberty Women's Clinic for some personal things we've experienced. We have grieved the loss of a baby taken away by abortion. We have been surprised by a grandchild whose arrival wasn't known until the day she was born! And we have longed for a baby for my daughter and son-in-law who announced in a Christmas letter that they were adopting, though it ended up not happening.

One way I help LWC now is by printing the prayer requests and praying specifically for each one. I know we will be surprised and happy when we get to heaven and find out about lives saved and moms and dads helped in their decisions to have their babies."

Our Story: LWC

We are thankful for the opportunities we have today with those who come in our door, yet we know God has more in mind. Our desire is to one day be the first choice for every woman in our area facing an unplanned pregnancy. We want to be the resource first on their minds, because they will know that our standard of care, our professionalism – and most of all – our love for them is more than anything for which they could ask. While we cannot predict how laws might change in coming years, we do know that in years to come there will still be women facing decisions of life or death for their unborn child every day. Regardless of where society takes us, they will need help and hope. We will be here for them.
